Last two days I've been totin' the Pioneer I won in Woodrow F Call's very generous giveaway. Thank you, sir! Been a while since I carried one, because I forgot what a useful knife it is. The green alox looks awesome in person. This one isn't leaving the pocket any time soon.

THEN the black pioneer i ordered way back on january 6th still hasnt arrived

Carrying these two today, the larger one is Le Trappeur a mid lock and the smaller one nestled against it's big brother is Le Compact, both sport 13c26 sandvik stainless and take a razor sharp edge...both are by Philippe Chambriard out of Le Thiers France, nice work.

It was a sad day when I saw you had the Companion forsale .
But seeing these two beauties that you still have , I understand now why you still can sleep soundly at night :)
Those two will cover any thing that the day throws at them

I find this to be one of my most often-used knives. The handle is just right. The blade shape and sharpness is just right.
