This is one of my favourite edc knives. I really like to carry and use the knives received from my very good friends here. They always brings a smile to my face. Thank-you :-)

Treated myself to a mango today. It was delicious, a gift from heaven. Here's a pic of it with my Mooremaker sodbuster.

That's a beautiful shot kamagong! Mango bone sodbuster with a fine patina dicing mango fruit. A work of art right there!

Today I've got my 25 year old Gerber Classic...

The scales are something I made about 10 years ago when the originals came off...

Thanks. It's a plain yellow bone sodbuster though, LOL...but I do agree that the mango and the soddie do match up pretty well.

Despite many years of carrying one-hand (tactical) folders, recently I find myself gravitating back toward the old traditionals.

A couple of days ago I was at the BassPro Shoppe, looking for some ammo, when I saw this Case medium stockman.
Needless to say, no ammo, but a new pocket pal....

Case calls this "Burnt White Barnboard".
It's bone and I guess the "burnt white" is the color and the "barnboard" is the jigged texture.
From the tang-mark it appears to be a model from 2000-to-2009.

This one might end up becoming a favorite. :)

I don't post much here anymore, but I have to say welcome to the traditional side. That 90 stockman is nice. Most of the burnt bones like that I have not liked. But yours looks nice. I also have a 90 and you are right. they are great in the pocket and in the hand. I really like mine. Congrats on the find.

Again, welcome. :)

Wow, will you look at her!. :)

Hey there Steve, I'm so pleased you still have time to carry that little Half Whittler, what with all of the real fine pieces you have at your disposal. I love to carry many of the fine cutters that my fellow forumite friends have given me too..

Here's one of my all time favorites!. Ive got these two blades so perfectly profiled its just down right scary.

Today it's my new Queen #64 bird's eye maple canoe. It came this morning and it's gorgeous, and sharp! I'd never heard of a sharp Queen before.

Pictures coming soon.

It's going back in my pocket today. The secondary blade still needs a bit of sharpening, but the master blade is nice and sharp.

The pull is a lot lighter than my #31 congress, but it has plenty of snap. I'd rate the pull on this one somewhere in the 4 to 5 range, while my congress is around 7.

I'm really loving this knife and the size is perfect and with the rounded bolsters it rides perfectly in the pocket.
