Well, tomorrow makes 2 full months that i have been carrying my combo of victorinox pioneer and case texas jack and i am really itching to try something new.

Today's carry, like everyday the this entire year :p

so tomorrow, i'm going to carry this paired with my pioneer. It was a gift from Duane when i first started my job (which will be 2 years come march 20th) in a warehouse style retail store and i carried it daily until the rust issue got to me.

i must say i've learned alot over the last two years and the last two months with this experiment and now i want to try out a single blade style knife and carry that for awhile. I mean i actually think MOST people carry single blades as opposed to multiblade pocket knives, i (perhaps mistakenly) believe that is it a PRIMARILY North American style of knife (with the exception of SAK's in europe) and alot of the rest of the world does just fine with single blade knives (you could even through modern knives in the single blade category

anyways, i think tomorrow i will be carrying this :D

switching to a single knife with a single blade for the next 2 months?? now that would be a challenge.
Single knife today, 3 blades though

That IS a sweet Schrade you got there Ryan ;)

it took me awhile to realize that it really is a single blade trapper pattern.

its kind of a funny story, i bought a case trapper a year ago and i kept thinking to myself i really like the clip point but i really didnt need the spade, i wonder if i could find a single blade trapper model, one day i was looking at my knives and it hit me like a truck, that's exactly what this is, blade length, handle length etc etc, the only difference is the schrade clip point is a little more dramatic than case's version :p

i will still pair it with the pioneer for the tools but i think its time to see how the other half (single bladers) live for a little while :D

You might be pleasantly surprised at how versatile a single blade knife is Ryan, I got by just fine with a single blade knife for many years...

Was almost out shopping with my wife and baby Max. :) Through the horrible traffic on a saturday morning.

Charlow was with me today

Carrying the great 2013 Traditional knife today. Is there not a 2014 model in the works yet?
