What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

In my pocket today but the photo was taken over the weekend. JD Ellis Lanny's Clip used to cut off the CV boot for replacement.

Hopefully I'm prepared for anything today with these two BSA knives, the Ulster Scout Scrteened Porch kindly gifted me last week, and the Camillus Whittler I won in r8shell's generous giveaway a couple of months ago :)

Please expound on these beauties, Will Particularly the one on the right. Thanks in advance

Thanks Gev. The left one is a Queen Cutlery Teardrop No.6. Liner lock knife (but with backspring too) in their earlier White Carved Stag Bone. The one on the right is a Fontenille-Pataud Laguiole with lockback in Sandvik stainless and rough bark Ram's Horn. On this model the usual Shepherd's cross of pins (kind of mark side) is omitted due to the rough texture of the horn. The quality of workmanship on these Fontenille-Patuads is exceptional with a big range of handles, sizes and steels. Here's the other side:

Regards, Will

Gev, they slice like the greatest food knife on earth, not surprising being French

Thanks P! I'm still hopeless at this photo stuff but at least it's a change...and i've got a backlog of knives:D:D

You're welcome, and you're doing just fine-- your pictures are appearing in your posts, after all. As you can see, natural/outdoor lighting makes a lovely difference.

I am suddenly trying to think of the various knives you've mentioned that I'd love to see, but trust your beauties will now be appearing apace.

Meanwhile, every time you post another picture you gain reassuring confirmation that you haven't actually been gathering spoons all this time. ;)

I'll bet that Ulster never thought it would see England. Nice to see it out and about.
