What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Fantastic-looking Lanny's Clip Paul

I haven't carried this Thomas Turner for a while, thought I'd slip it in my pocket today.

No matter what angle I take photos of my slipjoints, I always get a reflection of myself or something. Any suggestions?

Pocket wear on the bolsters won't show detailed reflections ;) Its hard not showing reflections especially when the bolsters are rounded as you'll always be in the photo. You can sit further back, or angle your shot (doesn't work well in group shots as knives further away will look smaller than they are).

When I first got my Northwoods (I own I think five now) I carried them in sheaths. The more I thought about it, the more it struck me they'd look better with a bit of wear. I'm thinking the pocket wear you mention may be the best solution - or some sort of light box which is way more work than I'm interested in.

My feelings exactly. I went through the same thinking when I started carrying my traditional knives a couple of years ago. Of course, you could always buy shadow knives and not worry about the bolsters :)
