This is a pattern I have always loved to see posted. Yours is a beautiful example of the pattern.

Loving the Inside Out Saw Cut Bone Charlows, but a bit jealous. Handsome knives.

Mr_Badexample - love the pics. Nice Ohta friction folder. How do you enjoy carrying it?

My carry choices today…a few pics for those that requested it. Don't know as much about the Hen and Rooster Knives…been doing some research…3 inches closed.

Here are a few of the copper friction folder I carried yesterday - pictured with a small Ohta friction folder. The Ohta is slightly longer but quite a bit thicker. It was made by Shelby Mihalevich (that's his user name here). He had posted a similar folder for sale and I wanted one a little different. He was happy to make that happen. Copper handles with 15n20 steel, 3 inch handle with a 2 inch blade.

Jone that little copper wharncliffe is superb. I am a friction folder junky.

Thanks for the compliment. The Ohta is new as of today. I believe this is his smallest model. It's very light and easy on the pocket.

Thanks, the copper friction folder will see much pocket time I believe. I bet your Ohta will as well. I know mine oozes quality and I'm sure yours does as well.

The Ohta and the Hen&R are exceptionally nice knives, impressive taste jone:thumbup:

Regards, Will

Thank you! Sorry, no ivory, this is the only TC Barlow I currently own.

Really a beauty - you picked out a nice one. ;)

Jone - thank you for giving us more of a look of your fabulous H&R - the scale colors reminds me of a calico cat.:)

Smithhammer - that blood red GEC is a mighty fine looking piece!

Stephen - That is a very nice Tuna Valley!

This is my tote again today ( might be a record for me):

This past Saturday I had a surprise in my mailbox! joeymoey sent me this 661311 blood jig bone stockman, it went strait into my pocket where it has been since. It's been a while since I carried a stockman, and this one sure is sweet.

Sorry for the incandescent lighting, got some time to snap a photo and the sun went away.
Thanks Joe! :)

Wonderful assortment of cutlery and beautifully photographed Alex!;)

I am wondering about the scale material on what appears to be a really nice 1977 Case XX USA lock-back?

I don't remember that knife, but, I am liking it a lot!:)

Hello!

Thanks Primble! :)

It is indeed a 1977 Case Lockback - one that sports jigged wooden scales. I tried to find out which wood myself, but could not find any pointers so far.

Best regards,
Alex
