What a beautiful and interesting knife. Between the long bolsters, the bar shield (is it just my eyesight or is that one curved slightly?), and 3 back springs - There's a lot going on, and a lot to like. Very nice!
By the way, who's the maker?
Thanks for the compliment, Stephen! It you set in flush on the table on its backsprings...it is curved. It is a...Eastern Cutlery Co. and I have never seen another with this stamp.
Thanks Brian, I've had quite a few Brusletto knives and found them all to be good. I gave my Gubben away a few years ago, but I came across a Gubben blade in my stuff a while back. Have to do something with it sometime![]()
Case Slimeline Trapper:
Thanks, and again, it's a beauty! Here's a picture of an Eastern Cutlery Co Germany stamp on an old butchers knife that I saw for sale on the big online auction company site - no idea if it's the same maker as yours, but thought I'd share in case you're interested.
Stream-side again today. Brought my Cramer LC Jr along.

my newest Case/Bose arrival:

Gary - Those scales sure do light up real nice with the light bearing down on them - I notice that you called it a LC Jr. - I am assuming that makes it smaller than a LC and I was wondering what the closed length is? Stream-side is a nice place to be.
Alex - congratulations on the new arrival - yours looks like a nice one and I love my chestnut CJ.![]()
Primble, This Lanny's Clip Jr is 3.5". I think the original pattern is 3 7/8". If that's wrong I hope someone will correct me.
I'll be back in that same spot tomorrow too.
Paul, these are a really fantastic offering. The pulls are on the softer side of the GEC lineup, and the size and shape make them easy to carry, yet substantial enough for secure grip. This one's a handy lil' dandyAll of a sudden, I really want one of these. First shot I've seen of just the sf open, and it's rather nice![]()
