Sam

This was picked up this morning at the post office. Gene Wiseman was kind enough to make a dream knife of mine. Completely over the moon.
Do tell? Looks like a Barlow pattern with a Clip stye blade and canvas scales? What steel, frame etc? Come on now, don't keep us in suspense. ;)

Haven't been able to post much the past few days and I'm not sure that I will for a while, but had a couple minutes now and thought I'd say 'hello'. Hope everyone's been doing well.

I'm carrying a Remington UMC pen knife today.

It is a shadow barlow modeled on (I think) an old keen kutter barlow. Green canvas and black micarta with D2 steel. I cannot seem to keep it out of the pocket. Gene is the nicest fella.

Ah HA. I thought that steel looked either stainless or semi stainless. I like it better already. ;)

My precious with me at work, took 3 days to make 4 of these parts...SUPER high tolerence parts for an electron microscope (still has mill work to do but i'm in lathe section).

Love that Erickson edc pattern and the calf roper slim! I may need to get me one of those slim 66s.
