This was picked up this morning at the post office. Gene Wiseman was kind enough to make a dream knife of mine. Completely over the moon.

Do tell? Looks like a Barlow pattern with a Clip stye blade and canvas scales? What steel, frame etc? Come on now, don't keep us in suspense.

Haven't been able to post much the past few days and I'm not sure that I will for a while, but had a couple minutes now and thought I'd say 'hello'. Hope everyone's been doing well.

I'm carrying a Remington UMC pen knife today.

It is a shadow barlow modeled on (I think) an old keen kutter barlow. Green canvas and black micarta with D2 steel. I cannot seem to keep it out of the pocket. Gene is the nicest fella.

Ah HA. I thought that steel looked either stainless or semi stainless. I like it better already.

My precious with me at work, took 3 days to make 4 of these parts...SUPER high tolerence parts for an electron microscope (still has mill work to do but i'm in lathe section).
