Great pic! But I am a little slow today! . . . . . . . . . . . .Strike one?

Nope, Strix-- just as written ("stricks"): that's my Strix knife with my new Strix license plate.

("STRIX" was taken, so STR1X it is).

A refresher:

Strix: A Custom Fixed Blade From Terrio Handmade Knives

(Strix = the ancient Roman/Greek name for "owl," and remains in current taxonomical usage as a genus of owls.)

This one has been constant since arriving about a month and a half ago.

The patina had a little help, but it didn't look quite right all shiny :D

Here's my wonderful late father's Old Timer 34OT. A great family man and I'd be perfectly ok if this was the only knife I could carry.

Happy Fathers day :)

No new knives this year but it seems the tradition for me (3 years running) is to go fishing alone. Ah, what a nice break it was. While I love taking my girls fishing, it is relaxing to not need to be a knot detangler or hook remover :D
