What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

I'm venturing to the very edge of Yorkshire today  To the dark valley of Todmorden  :D Thought I better go equipped for all eventualities, going that close to the edge of the map! ;)

Great setup, Jack :) I hope you´re having a great day!

What do you mean with "edge of the map" and "all eventualities"?! I can throw a stone over the river and I´m in AUSTRIA  :D

Just kidding!

Thanks Andi. The old market town of Todmorden is situated on the Border of the English counties of Yorkshire and Lancashire. I'll be sure to report back! :D

Enjoy your day my friend, hope the weather is as good as it is here :)

You don't want to go to Lancashire , they don't even know what a Whippet , a Ferret or a Pigeon is .
They are Heathens .

Maybe a short sword is in order, Jack. Stay aware when close to the end of the map. My the gods be with you.

I believe I will leave it as is.

I thought you had given it the treatment. It is perfection as is, IMHO. In the first picture, the lighting and composition is marvelous. It is alive with beauty!

Thank you Gevo and no treatment on this one. I have a hard time finding old knives that have patina this good and that somebody has not come along and messed up something about that. I just wiped the dirt and germs off with a quick alcohol swabbed rag and followed up with a clean dry cloth light rub - followed up with a quick sharpen up and dropped it in my pocket. I wish I could find more with the undisturbed natural patina like this one. ;):)

Trand - nice Damascus Case.:)

Mark - wonderful pair for today! :barf::thumbup::D

Great looking pocket knife.
Thank you very much! I cleaned up the handle and bolsters a bit with a buffing wheel. I think I will like it even better after it rides in my pocket for a while, and takes the shine back off the scales.
