What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Also, what a year of regular carry does to "Smooth Ivory Bone"

A Hartkopf lock back in thuya burl and Markus Balbach 300 layer damascus. The bar of damascus is a special piece that just came in from Germany, Markus Balbach Leo IV damascus, 4 steels including Leo tank steel, 630 layers, it is for a custom cattle knife that Tom Ploppert is building for me.

That's a fine example of a most excellent knife, congratulations :)
Thank you. :)

Northwoods IRJ for me today.

Great knife and photo Erik!:)

Nice old Case and the picture of it is nice too!;)

Wow! Is that the same knife!!! You take the most wonderful pictures Primble. I'm glad it arrived safe and sound, and it was much more prompt than I expected :)

Thank you again Paul and about exactly one week travel time. I am more than happy with it and the T.W. Ablett Barlow, which you added into the package, was very much appreciated. Very generous of you friend!!:)

This is my first contribution to this thread, however I have been admiring everyone's knives and great pics for months now.

So here is my humble submission, my #68 Pony Jack, with the rest of my gear from today. :)

Kris
I will be waiting to see that wonderfully executed piece of steel transformed into another work of art! I appreciated you sharing with us!!

Chris
Welcome and great submission! That Seiko is a jewel as well. I have had a similar one for many years and still love it.

Ken - very nice photo!

Markesharp - I really like your Buck 313.

Gevonovich - terrific photos. Muskrat and moonlight... I like it! Thanks for the compliment on my Keen Kutter (thanks to Primble and Jack too). I'll try to post up a few more pictures this week.

Jack - lovely ebony pair. I've got an ebony S&M Heritage Jack that I'm very fond of too.

Peter - beautiful scales on that one.

Erik - your IRJ is gorgeous.

2BlackDogs - very handsome canoe.

Primble - beautiful addition for your Charlow stables. I can see why you were chasing that one.

dma1965 - nice modifications!

Alnamvet - I love the orange SAK.

akula83 - stunning Greaf & Schmidt. Those bone scales are just incredible!

gmarthur - more redbone goodness.

uluapark - very nice. You should be ready for whatever needs cutting with that 5 blade sowbelly.

ALLHSS - great shot of the differences in the smooth ivory bone between those two.

Kris - very nice. I'm looking forward to seeing that cattle knife in the near future.

Invoice - nice hand (pair of Queens). ;)

Paul - wow! That one looks very different in the sunlight. Beautiful either way though.

Chris - very nice photo and knife.

Brett - that red Scout of yours is one of my favorites in that pattern.

Lot's of great knives posted today. I carried this ebony Pemberton today.

Paul...standing "O" on that #66 Purple Sage! Beautiful knife. I am really enjoying mine also. Your's should quite snuggly fit into the slot vacated when you sent your green #66 to me well over a year and a half ago. Enjoy that bad boy!

These purple sage 66s have moved to the top of my list...I hope I can get one before they are gone. Yours is a stunning example

Thank you as well Todd:thumbup: The Purple Sage is a looker for sure...this one popped up on the exchange and I had to act fast:o

Thanks Stephen

Love the 06! Those two etches look great on it, especially with the knife being in ebony.

Thank you Stephen.

How do like that Pemberton? I have looked at them and haven't bought one because they seem too small for my hands.
