What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Wenger Standard Issue for the past few days as I've been out and about celebrating my 34th.

My good woman got me some Innis & Gunn Canadian Cherrywood Finished beers.

Wassail!

Well happy B-Day, Thom!! Your woman knows her beer. Great looking picture too.

Yes it is Simple Man! I have one of it's siblings, and I'm thinking that this may be the one....the go to. The purple sage looks very similar to yours...and it is very nice. I may just shut myself up, put the #66 Purple sage in my pocket, and revisit in October. Love the #66 pattern!

Peter

Yeah, I fell pretty hard for the #66 frame with a redbone stockman, but it was a bit tall with the three blades. Then an Ebony, which is real nice also, but just not bone. I was waiting for a "natural" looking bone and was somewhat heartsunk when antique bone or the like was not on the production list. I did not have high hopes for "Purple Sage" but man oh man does it work. I may have a problem now though. I "landed on" a G-10 Endura 6 1/2 years ago as my EDC and have not found anything else I like better, not for lack of trying. I am starting to feel the same way about this #66. I guess there are worse issues to have. ;)

In response to the request for a face shot of the 1790 Austrian watch and a knife of course ...here ya go. The knife is a an old Schrade Cut Co with stock chain.

Just got this ksf mainstreet today, it fits the peanut, but its way too much for it..so i slipped the medium stockman inside, works great. Also the alox sak soldier goes well with it, but other than keeping in straight in the pocket, protecting the delrin or the alox seems weird, so i might get a new knife with bone at some point, maybe a texas jack, or another medium stockman...or a barlow..well, i'll see.
In the meantime, it will keep the stockman.
