I wonder why Case discontinued the Swayback. It's a slick looking knife and from what I hear comfortable in hand. Supply and demand I guess.

You have to wonder, but I suppose it's hard to question their business savvy.

@sunandsteel & @clutchcarter: I also wonder why they have discontinued their Barlow lineup almost completelly. I a nice CASE Barlow in chestnut sawcut bone handles would be quite a winner - at least in my book.

I've decided to carry this 73L for a while, it is light in the pocket, comfortable in hand, and has a very nice thinly ground blade.

Ebony makes it a natural pleasure to my eye, and the ergo's make it just as at home in the kitchen, as out in the yard...

Such a great pattern and in Ebony you can always tinker......

Perhaps not everyone's cup of tea and it wouldn't be something I'd be rushing to do with a "1 of 25!" My ebony #73 is my work knife very often so I thought I'd let it play to its strengths. It's difficult to see but I radiused the flats of the covers too.

I'm happy with the results
