Lot's of great knives posted today folks. I've enjoyed catching up on the thread this evening.

New member, have collected production knives for years, but this is my first post on this forum. I have a little Buck 305 I bought in the summer of 1971 as a high school graduation present to myself; it has been in my pocket every day since. The handle material is very worn and rounded off from years rubbing against whatever else was in my pocket, emblem is long gone, but the blades are shiny and sharp as ever. It was my first Buck. I also got a 313 later that summer, (my second Buck), and it is pristine and lives in my fanny pack, (with a 110 I got a few years later).

Welcome, Sonny!

I love to hear personal knife histories. Other than my Swiss Army Knife, my first traditional folder was an '80s Bucklite I bought when I was in college.

Look forward to hearing more about you and your knives!

Welcome Sonny

Love seeing those #66's. Seems to be a well accepted and used model here. I wonder were it lands on gec's most popular frame style list. I also wonder why they don't have their own thread on blade forums, 15's have a few, 25's and #73's, conductors, peanuts. I don't know about anyone else but I can stare at the 66 for endless amounts of time, not sure why. I must admit if I had to choose the 15 is probably my favorite but the 66 is a close second and is a classic for it's size and style.

I feel the same  Perhaps a 66 thread is long overdue! I know that if I hadn't seen Papa Andi's, I don't think the 66 would have caught my eye, it doesn't have a very high profile here, but I'm glad it did :)

Cameras acting up so a recycled picture...

Thanks a lot Stephen :)

Oops, forgot to post pics of my carry! :o

Thought I'd stick with the 66 again today, and I'm also carrying my Trevor Ablett Sheepsfoot :)

Really nice knife there Glenn. I have to admit I think a serrated blade can be very useful! When I carry a modern folder it usually has a partially serrated blade.
I'm lovin' the Burnt White Bone covers...

For me today it's an old favorite by Jared Oeser and a new favorite by Ken Erickson.

Thanks! As sharp as the straight edge is, the serrated portion is scary sharp!

Jack - Nice combo and a great picture of your 66. Hey where do I find a "money Tree" like that?:D

Glenn - Nice Trapper

Mark - Two nice custums

I am carrying my Case Bose Coffin Jack. It has been in my pocket everyday since I received it from my friend Primble

Welcome to the front porch! That 305 you've carried for 43 years has sure seen some things. You can't go wrong with a Buck in your pocket!

Thank you very much Mark. All travellers to the Money Tree have to pass by way of THE STRID! - http://www.cracked.com/article_19705_the-5-most-spectacular-landscapes-earth-that-murder-you.html  ;)
