What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Carried these two items with me today, both courtesy of my great friend, Jack Black. An olive wood Maserin Sodbuster and a Golden Owl Leeds coin. :)

Lovely colour on that stag^^^!!

I do wish GEC would hurry up and produce a single blade version of the #77/8 patterns!

Thanks avoidspam!
I've found that my stag jack is exceptionally photogenic. There's just so much richness in the stag and the patina in the blade, as long as it's in focus, the picture looks great.

Wow - very nice, Paul.

Do you know the vintage on that Hammer?

Sorry I missed your post SH, and thank you for the compliment:thumbup:

Here's info I rec'd from Perry..." Here's what I know, Paul. 1856 to 1931, now that being said, NYKC added the Hammer stamp in 1882. So this narrows it down from 1882 to 1931"

Thanks Paul. I need to find an EO like that. I really like the look of that.

Thank you Bill:thumbup:

That Hammer Brand EO is the spitting image of the 2011 forum knife, minus the cap lifter of course. Very very nice.

Thank you Sonneman, I never noticed (honestly) until Andi mentioned that as well.

I'm still blown away by the 2014 forum knife. I love the larger size of the #77 frame.

Still can't believe it cost just a hair over $70!

Its good seeing all you fine folks on here as I haven't been able to play knives as much lately, work and projects on the new place have been taking up most of my time. A combination of these knives have been assisting me with my day to day needs for pretty much the last few months. Good seeing you fine folks and all the great looking blades.
