What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

I wasn't expecting it as we said we weren't going to exchange gifts. The Trapper is my favorite Case pattern and the engravings make it truly special.

Definitely something to treasure my friend

Jack, the pins look nice on that wee FB now that they have some patina on them :)

Thanks Duane, you did a great job of that one, and I love its history :)

I picked this one up for work yesterday and decided I'd carry it today too. A Kabar jack I bought that had been slightly abused that I spent some time on.

Merry Christmas everyone! I have a wharncliffe lockback whittler from Joel Chamblin my pocket, but I am mostly using kitchen knives today. Hope everyone has a great day with family and friends.

Wow! There are a lot of super knives going "in pocket" today!
Merry Christmas everyone.
My new son in law gave me this Cattaraugus sleeveboard last night. I'd say he's starting out just fine. My wife gave me the Primble pearing knife, not bad either!

I'll be totin' my White Owl today:

This little Case got a workout this morning opening gifts; I used it, my wife used it, my son used it, and my daughter used it - meets my definition of useful! Merry Christmas gents. OH

Kris, that stag Chamblin is stunning. Who made that buckeye and Damascus knife? It looks like Jon C. Damascus but it's hard to tell from the screen of my phone.

That is beautiful Gevo. My mom would needlepoint daily when I was a kid. One of my foundest memories growing up.

I decided to carry these two for Christmas day.

Merry Christmas

Beautiful knives today! When I get a quiet moment later on, I'm going to go back through the last few days' posts. Too many are worth a second look!

Had a couple of old Case folders in my pocket at church last night. But when it came time to grab a knife for opening packages and gifts, it was the sheepfoot Barlow.

Merry Christmas, Brett

Me too, I can see her now sitting in her chair enjoying her craft. Mom was prolific and I have many of her pieces. Many took a very long time to complete and are my treasures.

Two fine carries today! That Charlow sings:D

Thanks Chris, Joel built me a real masterpiece. The santoku was made by my friend and ABS Master Smith Jon Christensen, his mosaic leaf damascus of 1084 and 15N20, couple of days work just to create the damascus billet. Good eye on the CA buckeye burl.

I thought it was. It's always a pleasure to see Jon's work, I always enjoy talking to Jon at the Arkansas show.

Thanks for sharing your wonderful collection.
