Hey Gev, what history there must be in that old Catt! Great shot too.
Perry
I fell hard for this one for that very reason, Perry! Thank you kindly for the compliment on the shot:D It was a water painting attempt with a syringe

Primble and Gevonovich - I'm honored to be included in the Catt club today. A wonderful pair of examples you're both carrying.

I am honored myself. That old Primble of yours is to die for:D:thumbup::thumbup:

I love that humble kitty Catt Barlow ya know.:D:D Look at that fabulous antique bone!!!!

Thank you. Your collection is off the charts fabulous!! I may ask you for the files for the display case in the distant future. I have some ideas I'm kicking around;)

Sugarleaf
That 25 is super good looking!! Keep the pics of it coming.

Beautiful picture of the Teardrop Ron.;)

Primble, by chance do you have any Charlows for sale? :D

I already told you twice Mark - did you forget?:confused::eek::D

Thank you Gevo. The files are yours for the asking - which one are you kicking around - the Catt or Primble files?? Just don't ask for my BELKNAP HDWE. & MFG. Cyclone trap!! :grumpy::rolleyes::D

I got this IXL Wostenholm pruner from a forum member and it was really badly sharpened and misshapen. I decided to grind it down to a sheepsfoot and put a new edge on it. The handle was a bit worn and the blade wobbled a bit, but I was able to tighten it down and refinish it with some sandpaper and elbow grease.

This knife has amazing snap and incredibly good fit and finish. Most surprising, however, is how wicked sharp I got the edge. I am not sure what the makeup of this Sheffield steel is, but it easily takes the most wickedly sharp edge of any knife I own. It is my first Wostenholm, and I have to say I am impressed.

dma, that's nice. Can you show a pic of the blade closed too? Just curious as I have one and was thinking something similar.

Great job on that beauty! How long closed is it?

An elephant's memory there in some ways Glenn:D But not an absolute hawk-eye, it's only 10 shillings a Half-Sovereign :p Appreciate the thanks though!

Regards, Will

One of those times where size really DOES matter, eh?

The conductor is one of those patterns I've never had, so wasn't sure with the comparison.

Nice things, both of them!

It is 4 1/4 inches closed. Blade length is just over 2 3/4 inches.
