What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

That hawkbill is really quite a useful blade. I'd hate to see it go. How about replacing the pen..... that way after a long day of work, cutting vinyl, carpet, cloth.... etc, you could crack open a few beers?

Having further reflected on this matter, I will not mess with the 3 blade Weaver Jack. Besides, GEC knows more about knives than I do. I will trust their judgement. And in another three years, it will likely be my favorite knife of all time with an ideal blade configuration.

Instead, I will just carry a second knife in my other pocket!

Thanks Scott, the opener was made by Vince(VCM3), Sambar stag, maple burl ends and the head is from Germany, it works very well. Don't have a favorite team, but I do enjoy a good game. Have a great Sunday guys and gals.

Nice to see that Scott, and to hear your feedback

Nice

I imagine so! :D Congratulations my friend :)

Today, I'm heading to the South Yorkshire hills and a circuit of the Dale Dyke Reservoir. In 1864, the collapse of the original dam wall unleashed a vast wall of water down the Loxley valley, resulting in the deaths of at least 240 people, with more than 600 homes, and all the cutlery wheels on the river, being destroyed. I'll have these three knives with me.

Jack it looks like you are set for your adventure with that trio of knives, from beauty to utility. Although tragic, I love to hear the history of that area and live vicariously through your tales.
I am carrying the Washington Jack for this Sunday and hoping to have a Sheffield knife soon.
