What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Thanks Paul.

I fought the temptation every time I saw Frank and Gary post theirs. I needed to recover from selling most of my SFOs so I hit the button. To be honest, when I first opened it I thought it looked like a sliced dill pickle. I was expecting a little more curvature to it and it was more flat than I expected. After carrying it today though, I really like it, and like the thinness of it. Needed a little oil and working, but overall it's a keeper. Plus, the scales feel great. The jigging is well done imo.

I agree that you've got a marvelous sowbelly there, Brett! My experience is that sowbellies just sneak up on you; you think they're not all that, and next thing you know, you can't keep 'em out of your pocket!;)

I carried a small ebony gunstock today.

Bingo.
Congrats on the new knife!

No idea what's going on, but I have no option showing up to post, unless I click "reply to thread", and even then my photos won't post. Apparently others aren't having this issue, but it's happening on both my laptop and iPad.

That said, I carried an ebony 22 Magnum today, but you'll just have to imagine what it looks like. :)

I was playing with my new Schrade IXL stockman today and Old & In The Way, I'm having to click "reply to thread" as well....my pics were showing up over in the multipurpose sub forum, haven't tried here.

I am having the same problem, Stephen! The navigation is a pain as well with no navigation options at the bottom of the page!

By the way that Gunstock is a great looking knife!

Brett
The "Sowbelly" is a favorite pattern and yours is a real beauty!! It's a gem. My Buffalo Cut Co is a sowbelly and it has less curvature than your knife...but I finally have one!!

Thanks! I seem to be on a small knife kick since getting back into town this week. I'm really impressed with the F&F on that one. I'm sorry to hear that you're having the same problems I am with posting and navigation, but at least I now know that I'm not going crazy. For a while there, I had my doubts. ;)

SAK Guy - I was finally able to edit my original post to include a photo. Hopefully things will be back to normal soon. The Schrade IXL stockman sounds interesting.

Went out to a gunsmith today and finally got the lever action gun I was drooling for since almost one and a half year. :D A tuned Rossi in .357Mag followed me home.

Well, so I decided to go ultra light weight this morning and chose my GEC #68 White Owl for today, thanks for that amazing knife, Thom. :)

Look at that stag!

I could never understand why there were so many pictures of Alox SAKs pictured with USA made traditional knives in this forum until i recently received an Alox Cadet as a belated Christmas present, since i have been carrying it along with my #66 i have found it to be very useful , in fact if i could switch the main blade for a scissor blade it would be ideal.

They make great compadres in your pocket! :D

Been away awhile but glad to be back on the forum. This one has been my go to for a couple weeks now. It handles everything I need in a knife

Frank - between yours and Gary's post I had to try it. Great knife. Thank you.

Thanks Gev & GT. It's in the pocket today as well.
