What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Beautiful choices today Jack!!

Yeah, That Schrade IXL is definitely a Connecticut Yankee in King Arthur's court. ;) :D

Thanks my friend :)

Yes indeed! :D Undoubtedly it owes more to Camillus than Wostenholm! ;) A former Brother-in-law of mine worked for Rodgers-Wostenholm at the time these knives were put together in the Richards factory in Sheffield. I have the large lockback. Whatever their true provenance, they're certainly nice knives, and well worth seeking out

I picked up one of the larger Stockman models a while back - a huge thing - but an act of despicable evilness had been perpetrated against it! :grumpy: One of our regulars was interested to have a look at it, and I think it may now function as a door-stop or boat anchor.

Thanks again for the brochure/article pix Jack! :) And I had asked you before if these were pinned through bolsters instead of the regular Schrade Swindon Key construction. They are! On this newest one, I can barely see the pin in one of the bolsters.

I sometimes wonder about the past owners of knives - in this case, I picture an elderly gentleman on the verge of senility standing before a grinder; or perhaps a deviant teenager that also likes to torture small animals and who will no doubt grow up to become a serial killer. ;)

Love the knife and the view. I need an adventure into the mountains.
These two for me today :)

Two great knives with super pictures, Jack!

We gonna celebrate my grandma´s 90th birthday... Friedrich Hartkopf Lockback and Markus Balbach damascus steel seems to be a good choice :D

and the modified Buck 112 on my belt. Thanks to Duane for this special occasion knife.

Cheers, Granny :)

Or put it in a sock for a cosh worthy of the trenches at Ypres.
I can't lay my hands on it right now, but it will reappear.

Thanks for the compliments folks, Dan packs a lot of value into his knives.

These two today, #759 in Sambar stag from Todd Davison and a drop point by Tim Steingass in beautiful Koa and damascus forged by Randy Haas Jr. Claude Scott sheath with elephant inlay.

Have a great Sunday.

Wonderful variety of knives posted this morning. I'm taking my family along with my parents to brunch in a few minutes and this little Eagleton Knife Co. tuxedo will be in my watch pocket. It's from the same era as the coin. I hope everyone is having a terrific Sunday.
