What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Brett - I'll be thinking of, and sending well wishes to Adalynn, you and your family. I know how hard it is to have a child in danger, heart breaking to say the least.

Thank you all for your thoughts & payers. I am grateful.:)
If a mod needs to take this to section to the lounge, I'll understand. I probably should have posted this there.

Brett,

Not much worse than something happening to your little one that you have no control over.

Prayers for your daughter. ...... .and for your family.

Great knife to have with you. I like to have an old friend with me for both the good and bad times.

This one is on the table for the morning.

I have found that this one makes the perfect worry stone, or, in my case, prayer stone. Adalynn, my daughter, will be in St. Jude from tomorrow morning until Saturday evening for surgery. The actual surgery will not be until Friday morning but, due to her condition, see needs 24 hours of prep time and monitoring beforehand. She will be under for a few hours and they will keep her over night to monitor her bleeding. Psalms 56:3 will certainly be on my mind.

Thank you for your thoughts and prayers.

Brother. Your verse, Hebrews 4:12 allows me to live Galatians 6:2 (bear this weight with you), to believe James 5:16 with you (He hears our prayers), pray 2 Cor. 1:2-5 for you (may His comfort fill you), and believe 1 Cor. 10:13 for you (you can bear this weight w/ Him).
Adalynn will be in my prayers today.

Todd

Adalynn. What a pretty name. She'll be in my thoughts and prayers, Brett.

Here's my carry today. Just a note; that pic was not taken today. The snow is 3 to 4 feet deep in that spot right now.

Brett, best of luck with your daughter. That's gotta be tough. I freak out when either of my two boys gets a fever about 100, I can't imagine a hospital stay.

Just remember this: In the end, everything will be okay. If everything's not okay, it's not the end.

Well.. I am just as happy as one could be. Received my new TC Barlow sheath to keep my prized TC in.
Slip handmade by Barry himself at GunstockjackS! Lovely.

What a great piece to compliment that fantastic soup bone that you have!!!

Thoughts and prayers from me as well Brett. My son had heart surgery at age four and that was the most nervous day of my life, by a wide margin. Fortunately, he came through it with flying colors and went home the very next day. He is 32 now. I wish for you and yours, the same fortune. :o:thumbup::)

Sorry, I meant it to sound like complaining! :D

My prayers are with you and your family Brett.

Best wishes, Brett, to you and your daughter.

Today, I'm carrying a Ken Erickson EDC I recently received on the secondary market, the butterscotch micarta is incredible.

Honestly, this might be my new favorite knife. Walk and talk is beyond anything I've ever handled.

That looks like a nice one to have in your pocket, Andrew.

Can you guess what color shirt I am wearing?

Best wishes and thoughts to that brave little soul Adalynn, Brett. May her surgery go smoothly and painlessly.

Thought I'd carry this old Camillus Scout

and the Shapleigh's Diamond Edge. A stouter Jack I have not found.
