What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

This knife was originally a gift to my brother but I'm keeping it instead! Helped my mom prep lunch today and started a natural non forced patina by cutting ginger, garlic and bananas. Didn't have my sharpening rods with me so I used the bottom of this plate and managed to get it shaving again.

Going out on the fire range today. Need some time for myself without thinking about health issues. Grail gun (Rossi Lever Gun, .357 Mag.) and Grail Knife (Queen DB Barlow - kindly gifted to me by my good friend Duane aka sitflyer)

Primble[/B]. :D

Stephen You got the Morel Mushroom Barlow?! AWESOME! I remember everyone going crazy over that baby! That Primble guy is OK! :D

Andi - terrific photo today. I hope you enjoyed your time at the range.

Mark - thanks, and yes, Primble's a gem. I've learned my lesson though and won't be gushing about any of his knives in the future, lest he ship them off to me. ;) :)

I felt like celebrating the end of the work week by carrying this one with me today. I hope all of you have a great Friday!

Excuse me while I commence to gush! :D

I keep going back to these two lately

Andi, I hope you have a great time at the range today! Those Rossi 92's are great little rifles! Wish I was there to accompany you, my friend!

Regards,
Ron

Hi Ron! I hope as well - I will drive there in half an hour, roundabout. Indeed, the Rossi 92´s are great guns. I have one with the 24 inch octagon barrel that is making it heavy and not really "little". ;)
Well - being a lefty it is a little stupid to shoot a K98 or a Schmitt-Rubin or any military surplus rifle. It would be great to shoot with you, Ron. :)

Still carrying the Wire Jack...

That's such a fascinating specimen!

As requested by a previous post, here's my humble EO collection. Would love to see what others have too!

Hey, I think I made that request, so thanks very much, David. ;) Those are such beauties, with a nice variety of secondary blades and covers.:thumbup:
(You're looking at my current collection of EOs :(:o).

...Today I'm carrying a very old friend in the form of the Mauser I got for my 22nd birthday. Pairing it with my Arthur Lambsfoot in ebony. Have a good Friday everyone and an even better weekend. I'm off to my first auction, so going to try not to scratch my nose too often! :D
...

Nice Mauser and lambsfoot, Jack!:thumbup: Do you have anything in particular targeted in this auction? When you say it's your first, do you mean today, or this year, or in your life so far?:D

Schrade again.

What a classic; simple yet effective!:thumbup:

Here's one of several I'm pocketing today:
