What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Totted this bad boy along with a 301. For some reason I just don't want to actually use the sheep.....love carrying and playing with it though.

WOW! That's absolutely killer, Gev! I've never seen a daddy barlow from OVB before. What a treasure!
I've got a daddy barlow today, too. A Robeson Shur-Edge made by Queen in 1999.

I'm toting around my GEC #71 in canvas Micarta.

I may just quit rotating my EDC knives and make this one my main carry. I would like to clean up the scales a bit and try to make the forced patina more even. It looks like there are metal flakes embedded in the scales. I'm hoping a little bit of sanding will take care of those.

Thanks Jerry! Would love to see pics of your 71 if you decide to clean it up, but it looks great to me as-is

Thanks! I definitely will post a few pictures. Shoot, it might even be thread worthy. I'm in no hurry though since it works great as-is. It'll probably be a project one evening when I'm bored.

Nice Puma, I bought one in the early 70's. The backspring broke within a few weeks and I never attempted to get it repaired.

GeV - Wow! What a Granddady! OVB indeed.

Primble - I know you're on a high after the Cats win yesterday, but thinking about giving away that Walnut Charlow makes me wonder if you're actually 'high'. ;) :)

Thanks much, my friend! I hear ya...I think all this B-ball winning is messing with our friend:D I guess all the endorphins can do that to ya;):thumbup:

I swear I did not even know it was there most of the day until I needed it. It got to see some real work, but no harm came to the old gal:p
