Clutch, I just picked up a buffalo horn 85EO. I love the subtle streaks they have. Yours is very nice! I decided to carry this for the first time since buying it from Brett (KBA).

Beautiful jigging and coloring on that one Jake.

Some lovely knives lately, people - I've been catching up on a couple of days worth of pages and some stunners have been posted.

We had a fantastic time visiting the in laws and extended family in the greater Belfast area, and as much as I enjoyed my Vic Electrician, it's great to be back with ol' faithful.

Good to have you back Paul

Rosewood 92 today.

+ 5K!!:thumbup: I totally agree with Jake (and others) about your buffalo horn 85 EO, Mark. That's a knife that dreams are made of!!

Jake, yours is also superb! Is it a liner lock model??

Is there anything you don't like about it? I have a couple 66 stockmans and thought about picking up a slim...

Don't get me wrong, it's a really nice knife: well-built, smooth action on both blades, great materials, very hand and pocket-friendly. It's just that it's not the ebony #68 that I mislaid recently and haven't found again yet, so it's more of a emotional, comparative grump* than a criticism of the #66.

So if you like the frame and fancy something a little lighter than the stockman, the slim is definitely worth a look.

*My #68 probably wasn't finished as well, and the #66's Gabon ebony probably is more pleasing (to me) than the striped ebony, but I'd bonded with the Owl and might not ever have needed anything else. :o

Electrician for work and the new 53 to ride along for moral support. I have to see where the 53 will fit in lol.

Great Boker Andi

Seahorse Whittler and an AG Russell Scout for me today.

Thanks Sir! The Böker is a nice knife, indeed. :) I got it as a gift from our fellow forum member Will (Power) and I highly appreciate it. It took me straight ahead into this pattern.

I've seen you post this Eureka many times, but I've never taken the time to say how much I like it. It's got an understated classiness to it. No frills or flourishes, just a good ol' fashion worker. I love it. Seems like you like it as well. ;)

Cory - yes the #92 Eureka Jack is a great knife. I bought it some time ago out of the evilbay. I was very interessted in this pattern so I bought it. It is a little bigger than I thougt. And I quickly started to like that knife very much. Unfortunatelly it seems to be a little underrated. As you said - an understated classiness. :)
