The German scout is a Weidmannsheil from 2007. Got this one off the big auction site, I've also seen them in ram's horn. 3.61" closed.

Very nice Tom:thumbup: it's funny how my summer carry changes. My seasonal business starts tomorrow (thaw till freeze) & I always carry a small fixed for the summer...usually a set up similar to yours. I open heavy bags of chemicals for cleaning and often am cutting notches in heavy plastic five gallon pails and feel so much more comfortable doing so with a fixed blade;)

I started of with the barlow, then I found this little number in my pile of knives to clean so I cleaned her up and in my pocket she went.
(not sure if she would be considered traditional though)

(A Friday arrival. Straight to my pocket, straight to my heart. Not in that order.)

Nice knife there, Sarah. Does it have a name? :D

George needs to work some more on his patina, but he's starting to get that nice distinguished grey on the backsprings:

hillbilly hippy, I like your old knives (wire knives, barlows etc.).

I started of with the barlow, then I found this little number in my pile of knives to clean so I cleaned her up and in my pocket she went.

r8shell, Sarah, Beautiful TC's. Some things really do get better with age.

Lots of trees with shallow roots, all tangled together from the snow this past winter, my wife calls them yoga trees.

Thanks Paul! Still trying to figure out the best way to carry a small fixed blade, a pocket sheath works but is a little clumsy, vertical belt works but not for all dress situations. Trying to figure a way to attach a pocket clip to the sheath, that might work. Or maybe have a custome horizontal sheath made. My quest continues ;)

Thanks Dave! You have not seen the last of the Lloyd by a long shot. I plan on boring the good people of the Porch with pics of that one for quite a while :).
