That's a good looking HJ, who made it?

Pal Blade Co. Sorry for the terrible pics. Still new to the traditionals and taking knife pics. Seems like a really well made knife. I don't hear much about Pal, but I am impressed. I think the covers are ebony and the whole knife is in pretty amazing shape for how old it looks to be.

Another attempt

sitflyer, I sure admire your 2-bladed toothpick.:thumbup: That's a Powderhorn from GEC, right? Are you a toothpick expert, by any chance? Do you know of any other 2-bladed toothpick models currently in production?

Thanks for the kind words GT. The Powderhorn is just a pattern that I fell in love with, The two blade version is just so perfect for me in hand, and comfortable to carry. I just love the graceful curves of it's frame. I don't know of any other knife which compares to it. Well, those new GEC 38's sure are tempting, but for me the 15 Powderhorn tickles my fancy...for the time being.

556hunter - Cool KABAR Scout

tdkfm - Great looking PAL Blade Co knife

flint hills- looks good to me, sure missed my chance to comment on your pictures of living the dream, love the shot of your little boy with the thumb up

I.N.F.K. - Glad you found your old Tree Brand, nice congress

P - Really is a great shot of a great knife

Not really into the etch but I sure like this one

Pictures are still appropriate! There's been a dearth of dental x-rays posted here lately ; members of the dental profession have the same appreciation for sharp steel tools that most of us have!:p:p

LOL! I've been trying (without success unfortunately) of a pair of antique dental pliers I offered to gift my dentist - He recoiled in horror! :D

I'm slipping my Davison in my pocket today :)

Still carrying my old Tree Brand, but this time I have Silly Putty :D

Cool photo, I.N.F.K!!:thumbup: I haven't played with Silly Putty in decades; gonna look for some when I get the groceries tomorrow. :p:p

Thanks for the persuasive testimonial, sitflyer. I really like the idea of a 2-bladed toothpick; I have an old Imperial that I carry frequently (and it reminds me of my grandpa's knife). A Powderhorn is a little much for my usual knife budget, but maybe my wife could be convinced that she's getting me one for our 30th wedding anniversary on June 1!:rolleyes:

I can just imagine his reaction when you whipped out your old tongs! :D:D (Of course, it seems only fair, since my dentist often causes me to recoil in horror!)

Your Davison is still magnificent, and that pocket slip is splendid; pairing them up has to put you at the top o' the world!!!:thumbup:

Now, that looks like the tools my dentist uses!

Beautiful Menefee!

I just got this KABAR scout knife in, so I decided to bring it to work with me tonight:)
