What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

I had time to take pics yesterday...but not actually post. Promotions are a double-edged sword...(but I needed it to keep up with the money you gent's have helped pry out of my pocket and into the hands of custom makers)

And today...(sorry for the fingerprint on the shield...it's actually perfect)

All Classics in my book. ;)

What "traditional knife" am I totin' today? Thanks for asking! ;)
Among my knives for the week are a couple of old Imperials, a 2-bladed toothpick that I really like for unknown reasons and an Imperial Ireland nylon-handled stockman (with pen instead of spey).

Jcurd, that cross cut mammoth is amazing!! I have that knife's cousin lol.

Again with the Erickson...I...must...have...more...customs!!! (At some point of course)

J_Curd, Peregrin, and Jake, beautiful customsss. Love the mammoth on the Davison. That Case looks like a fine scalpel Gary with the angle of the blade to handle and always a fan of your Erickson Jake.

That's a nice one, Jake! Looks to be one of Ken's earlier creations, based on the Maker's Mark.

Thanks, Ryo. The Norfolk has some really thinly ground blades and is a joy to cut with.

You gus are carrying some beauties today!

Well, the full out "nesting" stage has kicked in and Laura has me making a new head board. Hope you guys have a good one.

Very gracious comments fellas, thank you!

And....We have a mystery on our hands!

I got the above Davison 2nd hand and the seller told me it was Spalted Elder. If it's actually mammoth, I got it for a lark.

I wish I was wizen enough to know which is which :(

HMMMM, I'm on my phone so the photo isn't that big lol. Now I'm not sure either! What I've done with my Davison's that I've received second hand is find the number. Then go to Todd's profile and click on latest started threads. From there just click through and try and find that knife's sales thread. They are pretty chronological so it won't take long to narrow it down. I then, if I find it, save all of that information for my records.

If you'd like me to help, just send me a PM or email with the knife's number and I'll try and find it
