What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Thank you Duane. Ebony on the Ancient. Most all of the Ancient Ebonies that I have seen had more brown in them than in the past.
That's cool! I really like the ebony when it shows some of the lighter browns in it, beautiful wood

Just a quick couple of photos. New addition to my collection. Does anyone else have gec#99 f&f ? Does yours have blade play ? This one does in all direction. Not a deal breaker for me I was just wondering.

I just received one in trade from the forum and it is rock friggin solid! No play at all. I love it. It was traded to me as NIT, which it was. I had to do some work on the edge but other than that it is a little tank and ready for work.

Also, carrying this killer today. Recycled photo since I wont be able to upload a photo until after work.

Completely agree. I'm actually not a fan of jet black ebony but when it has brown streaks or is mostly brown with black streaks it can be stunning.

S&M #69 for me today:

Gets as much pocket time as any, love the blue sparkle in the carbon fiber. Lost for a couple months ... was heartbroken ... thanks to my wife for finding it!

Good fortune to all.

Sorry for the bad picture. I got this today. Nice knife, the action could be snappier but I cleaned the spring and tang surfaces with electric toothbrush and soap, this helped some. I am quite pleased, the wood handle has a nice grain and fit and finish is quite good. The edge could be sharper, it was sharp but needs a touch up. I have been looking a trad knife with corkscrew and bottle opener and this fits the bill nicely. I can't wait to take this to a late summer picnick with my lady and dressed to the occasion. :)

Gevo Out of the park! How old is that beauty? It looks pristine!:D

Ya know....I don't know old this one is and there just is not that much info on it. Maybe someone with some reference books can see if any info is available?:D I can't find my notebook I usually jot down the dates for the knives I have researched.

EDIT: Thanks so much for the compliment Mark!!!! Sorry...I got a call when i was typing the first bit. Thank you, my friend. I will try to find my notes!
