Brett : I do not know why yet , but that Grohmann Lockback interests me a lot. Maybe because it is different.

Appointment cancelled on me today, so I ended up going for a little walk in the woods - brought the Liten Bror along (first time outta the safe since winter!):

What brand is this?
It's a Schrade made Russell Commemorative Barlow 1875-1975
About 12,000 or so were made
I believe it's the same pattern as an old Schrade 206 Barlow
After 40 years, the original yellow/orange/tan/brownish Delrin STILL WASN'T looking any better so I had the handle replaced with sawcut mammoth

Got a nice Cocobolo Schrade Cut. Co. Sleeveboard in today, at 3 & 3/8ths inches closed. The metal had been over-cleaned. I went through my normal remedy and added some blade patina afterwards. A very nice little knife with great snap. NS shield, bolsters, and pins.

I was shopping for plants with the wife today. Didn't get to use my Orchard Gem in the garden, but this baby destroyed a clam pack!

Just sharpened this for the first time, second knife I've sharpened. Pretty easy with the warncliffe blade, but still a few mistakes that I did. Still, pretty happy with it and can't wait to try out my edge on one of my favorite knives!

A Big gun for today! It's seen a lot of use over its life.

Destroy..... that's how I feel about all clamshell packaging, Dean! :)

I love the Cocobolo Covers of that Sleeveboard, Primble. It has that, "I'm not afraid to be used." look.
