  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

What a glorious day in Texas and to be on this porch with all of you!! I am grateful.

Ron
Just a lovely old Cut Co, my friend!! I wonder if the easy was a modification. I've not see one like that? Looking forward to the other treasure!!

Gev - We are grateful you're here with us my friend!:) I do not know if the EO was a mod or factory.
I have seen several Schrade Jacks with this feature, but they were all bone. I have never seen this knife with or w/out the notch before.:D

Nice finds guys

Long, tiring day helping out a friend in his shop. Had a Leatherman with me, and my trusty Ancient  Hope everyone is having a great weekend :)

Thanks Jack.:) The Ancient is looking good!

Same knife, new picture.
Jerry Halfrich Small Rounder.

Gary, I always love to see this Halfrich, just a superb knife!

I had my ebony Ancient with me today. The rock (?) I had the Barlow on was partially magnetic. After several attempts at placing the knife just so, I gave up and let the magnetic forces align the photo!

Dean, that dang rock might be a big meteorite!:rolleyes::D;)

Great stuff, love your pics Tom

Great photo of that scratted Ancient, Jack!

Thanks Dean, that ebony looks good, and that's an interesting tale about the rock, worked out well! :)

These today

Very nice Harry :)

That Scratted Bone Ancient just begs to be carried, Jack! That pattern was a grand slam in my book.

Thanks a lot Gary, I'm finding it hard to kick out of my pocket! :D I think Charlie and GEC did a great job with this one

Looking good Jim

Nice set-up Derek

Thanks Jack.:) The Ancient is looking good!

Thanks my friend, pocketing it again today :o :) Hope everyone has a great Sunday

Good stuff Jim, by chance I've just started reading Ben Hogan's biography

Thanks for your interest Jim. Clockwise - 33Conductor in faux Tortoise, 66 White Owl in Ebony, 26 Sleeveboard in Primitive Bone. The White Owl is a big fave pattern of mine, got quite a few, and you are correct it's a compact frame 3.5".

Regards, Will

Oh yes the white owl.. why don't they make those again? I can't believe I passed them up when they were a available.

Thanks will power!

Jim

May everyone have a golden day!

Beautiful Gary

Thanks Jack. The Red Stag is really gnarly on this one.

Gary, that's one of the best looking SBs out there.

I stumbled upon this, Jeff. I'm glad I did. Case made 125 of these for a Southern dealer (not a BF dealer). It's serialized and came with a Certificate of Authenticity signed by Tony Bose. The Raindrop Thomas Damascus seems to have more contrast and better finish then the other Case Damascus that have.
