Nice new addition Brett! Looks like an old carpenters trim knife, I dig it

Switching up myself, poker night :)

Thanks Jeff, I appreciate that. I only had one TC and needed another to hand down one day. This one will certainly do. :D

I have been carrying these for about 3 weeks or so. I have used the Opinel daily to make a salad for lunch with no noticable swelling of the handle in the pivot area. I guess the Vasoline and hair dryer treatment was effective enough. The Peanut has handled the little daily cutting chores and the Classic has been along for the ride in case one of lifes little emergencys should come my way.

Ok, mailman just dropped this one off an hour ago. In the pocket now.

Great one Brett :), something to accompany it should be arriving soon to you~

Got the Doc Hagen LC today. Headed to Kansas City for the I.C.C.E. show.

Chris

That is quite the tang stamp Chris, hope you enjoy the show~

An awesome mod done by Bob in the pocket. Love the cocobolo.

Excuse my sore-throat ;)

Thanks, Rachel, SAK Guy, and quiet Jack! :)

Tell me more about this one! Who made it?
Joker is a cutlery in Albacete, Spain. Over the Christmas holidays, I bought the knife I posted yesterday when I visited my daughter who lives in Spain.

She came home for a visit in August, and brought me another somewhat similar Joker. Here's a comparison shot:

Tsunami of great knives sweeping the screen today!

GT that Horn is really something I have to get one from Spain too

Thanks, Will
Thanks for your consistent admiration of my Joker, Will. I hope you can find one soon! Do you trust using a Spanish website? I've seen inexpensive Jokers similar to the horn model I have on some Spanish knife vendor sites.

These aren't today's pics, but the knives still look the same. :) I've got these two Case Chestnut CV knives along for the ride today.

Excellent chestnut CV Cases, John!:thumbup: In another thread, you mention that the Case 3-blade sowbelly doesn't appeal to you; why not? I'm seriously considering a sowbelly in chestnut CV, but I'm reluctant to get one if there's some design flaw I'm not aware of!

I've been carrying this combo most of the week, and will probably stick with it tomorrow, as well

I really like that half-congress knife, Rachel!:cool:

Have a marvelous and safe trip, Chris.:thumbup:

Those are some splendid "simple pleasures", Jim!:cool: If I wasn't infected with some kind of knife-acquisition compulsion, an Opinel on the kitchen counter, a peanut in my pocket, and a SAK Classic (with its essential scissors) on my keychain would be more than adequate for all my knifish needs! :o;)

Brett The Ancient is the wisdom of ages, grand knife!

The 83 Stag lockback has occupied my pocket and bag for days now, other knives are growing restive and talking wildly of staging a GENERAL STRIKE:eek::eek:

In order to placate growing anger I picked out this ringleader in the hope of negotiating some compromise:D

GT I'd certainly trust a Spanish site as they use the same currency as we do, perhaps you could e-mail me a link?

Thanks, Will
