  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

This has become my closest companion on site. My first bit of paracord work too. I can see where this becomes addictive!

Love that!
Growing up my mom had a subscription to a magazine that had two needles hidden in it. I would spend hours looking for those needles.

A new 73 for the day.

Edit: Had to make this one my own. Not the best forced patina, but the edge is hair popping now. Maybe one day I'll get to the point where I can use a stone and not make those sharpening lines. Gives it character though. ;)

KBA - You too! I remember them being in the doctor's office during visits. They were the bee's knees..... :D

Also, that 73 looks great ! I'd take those character marks over an uneven bevel anyday!! What did you use to force the patina..... a potato?

GuestWho101, Cool pic. It looks like the critters have overrun the camp!

With me today.

Peregrin - Thanks! Indeed, it does..... :p

Your carry is dapper, as usual!!

Ok, I admit it. I still look for the needles occasionally when I am at moms. :D

The patina was made by rubbing a strawberry over each side for a few minutes. Smells better than vinegar.

Erik - Glad to know Im not the only one who doesnt mind the lines! :D Thank for the kind words as well.

All the "cool kids" are doing it! ;)

And as far as the patina goes..... that's sweet (literally), haha!

Early start for me in the morning as I'm heading over to visit ADEE. Got a large heap of knives in my bag, and these two set aside for my pockets
