What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

That Humphrey looks like an awesome knife, Primble. I like the brute de forge and it looks like he's worked a nice guard into the ricasso. Very nice.

Thank you Gary ! :)

After all it is Wednesday! :D

I love that knife and the character it has Ron !:D

You are welcome Roberto! I will bring my Parang down to Kentucky and make firewood of that Humphrey! :D

Made these two fixed blades and carried them in the woods getting ready for bow season.
Top one in 01 steel and stag, bottom knife in 1095 and OD green micarta. I could use the top one to chop up Primble's toy knife too. :D:D:D

Didn't carry this today (because it just came in the mail), but you can bet I'm carrying it tomorrow. It's my first GEC. I can already guarantee it won't be my last.

What Brett said! I am living vicariously through you guys:D The sub-hilt is smashing!!!! The Loveless Hunter is gorgeous too, but i think the Sub-hilt may have a chance against the parang:eek:

The knife is a 62032 SS Medium Jack (same thing as the Small Texas Jack) in Sunset Winterbottom Bone that I dyed to a darker chestnut color, because the dye-job on it wasn't quite what I was expecting based on the catalog pics.
...
Thanks for the additional info, John. IMHO, the dye job on your Medium Jack resulted in a vast improvement in the looks of the knife!

... nice-looking RR Barlow
Thanks, Jack. :)

Winnie Banana Trapper and a Wenger SI.
...
VERY appealing shield and jigging on the trapper, SAK Guy! Your photos often have that background; is that an old tractor seat??

GT Thanks for your enthusiasm for m' 83 Stag, you are correct I'm not one for lanyards really, got no skill in making them unfortunately. Probably I might've preferred the 83 not to have that hole...but it adds to the look of the stag in some ways.

Regards, Will
Thanks for the response, Will. I like nice lanyards (e.g., braided leather rather than just a paracord loop), but, like you, making the type of lanyard I like is not part of my current skill set.

Had to satin finish the blade to match the bolster...
Nice work on that, Jake!

Early start tomorrow, slipping these two in my pockets
...
Have a good one, Jack! TC must stand for "Terrific Choices" (or maybe "Thursday's Cutlery" or "Twin Cutters" or ...). :p

Just for you, Bob, here's the pile side.
...
Wow, John, that Eric's Jack has very distinctive and memorable stag covers!:cool:

GT Thanks for the compliment on my 73! I am not big on lanyards.
Love that Keen Kutter!:D
...
Thanks, Ron; that EC Simmons KK (a generous gift from MarkeSharp) is older than I am, which means it's definitely getting way up there! :D

Another couple of splendid products from the MJ factory! ;) Great job, Mark!

Enjoying a nice evening with my wife, daughter and malamutes,

Joel Chamblin whittler, Claude Scott elephant sheath
...
Kris, that whittler leaves me speechless each time I see a photo!!:eek::thumbup:

Didn't carry this today (because it just came in the mail), but you can bet I'm carrying it tomorrow. It's my first GEC. I can already guarantee it won't be my last.

Congrats on the new Ancient scratted bone TC, btb01; fantastic knife and pics!!

Some knives are with me EVERY day, not part of any weekly rotation plan. These four have been in my pockets almost every day since I got them: a Vic Electrician, a Case SS Delrin Peanut, a Case CV chestnut bone Sodbuster Jr, and a Vic Minichamp.

How was fishing Mark? I like the new blade profile, reminds me of a scapel and I imagine works like one too :D

Rick and Morty! I like the trio you've got goin on Bill/

Love this pattern! With all the LPS and coping Barlows this week, seeing the contrast of that setup on a dogleg is cool.

Thank you Gus, another one being carried today to rival the recent 77 long pull spears & coping blades.

I love that #85 Tim. Is it ok to lust after my own work? I mean it was a beautiful knife already, but I like the mods if I do say so myself. ;)

Haha I'll be sure to send you glamour shots Bob. The mods only improved this one and I'm grateful for you modifying it for me :D :)

Looks just like the 85 SFO's....nice work on that one Bob. Tim, no fake patina this time lol

VERY appealing shield and jigging on the trapper, SAK Guy! Your photos often have that background; is that an old tractor seat??

- GT

Thank you Gary! Yes, it's an old cultivator seat stool that we have had for 40+ years. It's color, condition and symmetry make it very appealing for a background!

Nice choices today!!!! Still loving that homemade pouch of yours!! :)

So you pre-load your pants pockets with the next day's knives before you go to bed? Now that's planning! ;)

LOL! I got thrown out of the Scouts for being TOO prepared John! :D With a 5am start, I like to be a little mise en place, if not IN the pants, in a prominent position close by! :D

Have a good one, Jack! TC must stand for "Terrific Choices" (or maybe "Thursday's Cutlery" or "Twin Cutters" or ...). :p

Thanks GT, it's going well so far! :)

It's really a stamp, but I think postcard better fits the b̶i̶l̶l̶ shipment. ;)
