Superb old Boker congress, GasMan; that shield is perfect for the shape of the knife![/IMG]![]()

Whoa, sounds like you're diving right into the deep end, Dschal!!It's a great one. I have my eye on some other 77s, but I have to pace myself. I've got a 54 Moose and a 15 Boy's knife incoming, and a bunch of Rough Riders to boot. But when the time comes, I'll be looking at a 77 with nice stag no doubt.
Beautiful picture!

Thanks for the info, Dan.GT- I've had to apply wax twice so far the last two weeks. Wood keeps on soaking it up.
Yes. It's a Swayback Jack. What a great knife. I really like your Case Cv Jigged bone trio you have there. Makes me want a Case sodbuster junior too!

Glorious photo, StoneBeard!!

Thanks for the follow-up, Gev; fascinating background!Yes it is cryptic as usual, GTBNSF started as a holding company and soon will own it all from Canada through the US. All controlled by a nice ice cream licking old man
I'll let you do the math, my friend
As per the shot... a bridge had been washed out and the road was shut down. The trains always stop along this section of track but the road traffic is usually to heavy for me to stop.

I'l bet your pants have at least 4 pockets; you could just grab all your knives and put a couple in each pocket, and not have to worry about deciding which one(s) to carry!I can't decide
Lol I got my watch now I need a little and a large knife and my lighter decisions decisions![]()

Thanks for the additional unfiltered photos, Jack.

Thanks, Tim.You're welcome GT, haha I'm glad too. I was going to have one embarrassing story alongside an even worse row of teeth if it fell out. Beautiful burl it looks like on that Remington canoe. Lots of nice swirls.
To prepare for a new city knife by Bret, carrying the current city knife~

Good to see your post, Lemmy! Best wishes on the home purchase. Interesting pocket dump with lots of desirable knives; what's the dark one just to the right of your Alox SAK (or is that part of your comb?)? Nice toothpick; do you still have that toothpick that you rehandled with the red covers? That was a ravishing knife!!
Lhpanther and Brett, the stag on your knives is incredible!
Good to see that black Powderhorn again, Duane!

Satisfies ALL the senses, eh? Its sensational!!I think this one is going to be in my pocket for a while. It just feels right, looks right, sounds right, tastes (?) right...

Grand old Pals you have, Gev and Harry!!

Cool Schrade, Glenn! In between all the chaos going on lately with my father-in-law, I did get a few hours to go down to a semi-local knife show. I picked up this used but not abused Schrade Cut Co. I may mod it at some point, but for now it's a good companion in the pocket. Look at the width of the spring on the clip blade! It's about 1/8" thick and great snap...
...

Steve, your green Farmer is awesome!
Gorgeous canoe, Peter! Is that a Queen?
That copperhead sure looks good, Ron; I always enjoy seeing it back in your pocket! Some beauties being posted today! I am totin' this Queen City Copperhead today.

Is that Case sunfish jigged wood?? What a concept! And I recognize the Osage Orange Coyote thats getting plenty of pocket time lately, but whats the third knife, and what kind of wood is used on its splendid covers?
Wow! That is a brilliant color!

Very dignified, Dean!!
I probably should retire mine from the rotation to eliminate the risk of losing it, but I only carry it (on a lanyard attached to my belt) for a week out of every 12 or 13 weeks, and I havent lost it in 50+ years so far.Forest Master was my firdt also- stays safe in knife / edc drawer!
Dynamite Dowell, Ben!Day 3 with this beauty. It's kind of just right for me, nice size, not so fancy that I'm afraid to use it at work, and it cuts like a champ!

Hope you have a safe and enjoyable trip, Jack.

Very appealing, Will!Kris That Dam Böker is a smooth looking knife! Inspired me to carry my lower version carbon one with Washboard Bone. These are slim knives and I agree the action is oiled on them, before you even need to oil them! The blade is an excellent slicer too.

Great green sleeveboard, Ron! :thumbup:I decided to give this Fremont a little time in the pocket today.
