What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Out for an early hike with my ladies, hanging on the property and enjoying some nice beer and grillin' some flank steak with some chimichurri. These three are with me today, Menefee, Loveless, Bose

Another Blade Show in the books...and I'm happily carrying a nice piece I asked Evan to make for me a bit ago. Bronze bolsters, Elephant Ivory, S35VN.

Too busy yesterday to post , but carried these for a Granddaughter's wedding.
A 92 and an 18

Today we are back to some normal type of day . Had to get enough radishes for 5 people . Back to my normal EDC

Total of 3 should do it.

Harry

I thought I'd posted this earlier today. I been running around like a chicken with my head cut off for the last few weeks. I think it's affected my brain.

That's a beauty!

They fit a whole mess of blade in that Joker, GT! Thanks for the pic; what a lovely knife and blade shape.
Thanks, Shawn; it certainly is a knife I enjoy using. :)

:D It's what all the cool kids will be carrying! :D
No doubt about it. ;)

GT
Thank you for your kind words,Sir! The artistic metal work is a gargoyle on a giant steel fence at the back entrance to Zilker Park. An old picture.
...
Thanks for the ID, Gev. :)

A Buck "301" with BG-42 blade steel. Ivory Micarta covers. The workmanship is of custom quality as these were made by the Buck Custom shop.

Outstanding custom 301, Frank!

Thanks, GT! Posh, imagine that. :)
I think I learned that word while reading Harry Potter books with my daughter years ago, Dean. :) I'm gradually developing an extensive alphabetical list of words I can use when commenting on knives here; always pays to increase your word power, you know. ;) Sometimes, to amuse myself, I'll "work through the alphabet" while commenting on knives that strike me in the "totin' today" thread. You happened to come up between "O" and "Q", and I hadn't used "posh" in quite some time, as far as I could remember. So that's the story behind my noting that you had a posh Calf Roper Slim! :D

...
It's the Case 63090 SS Medium Stockman again for me today. I just can't get enough of this knife, both as a worry stone and as a capable cutting companion.

Congrats on that stockman you're enjoying so much lately, Dadpool!:thumbup: Sure looks good!

Thanks Gary. You know what, that Buffalo nickel is past due. ;) Soon my friend, soon!

Rain, snow, sleet or hail............. Today at my house was rain, but these 2 were right there in the mail box when I got home! :D And they are right there in my pockets now! Hope everyone is having a great weekend.

Congrats on that ebony Imperial Barlow and on the spear Talon, Ron!! They both look fantastic; the spearpoint blade on the 92 is very compelling!

Me this morning, out and about with Stag Saturday's selections:

Found a Beagle pup in the mail when I returned home so I switched out those folders for these:

Quality Saturday quintet, TB!

GT, thanks!(on both accounts)
I think I own one knife that gets babied, and that's the 92 eureka Jack. That knife is so pretty that I haven't had the guts to put it up to anything more strenuous than cutting an apple. One day though, one day...

Yes, my Joker is certainly due some pocket time GT :o I have also been carrying a wee MAM knife since March, but have neglected to get pics :o Many thanks for the comments on my new Lambsfoot (and Abbeydale), I will have to check out Cory's Ruple :)
...
I've had a lot of work on recently, and it looks like I'm going to have to work today. Going to have these two with my though :) Have a pleasant Sunday everyone

Appealing pair; I hope your work load eases up soon, Jack. I'd like to see what MAM you've been using.

Yesterday was a long working day around here. The Hayin Helper accompanied me most of the day. Here in the mid-Atlantic, I'm starting to can veggies from the garden, seems early this year......

The 2-blade Hay'n Helper sure is tempting to me; how do you like yours? Are those beets you're processing? One of my grandfathers apparently raised beets as a cash crop, and fed the tops to his dairy cows, about 80 years ago.

Thanks for your interest. It's a Model 3046 and unlike most canoes, has half stops on both blades. It's also the only Ka-Bar canoe I've ever seen with mother of pearl covers. Sorry I couldn't offer more information, but that's all I know about it.
Thanks for the helpful information, deskil; sure is a charming canoe!

I have no idea what those knives are, but they certainly are magnificent! Jaw-dropping jigging!:thumbup:

What a sensational-looking pair of small knives!

Congrats on that stellar Ivory & Brass spearpoint, Joe!:thumbup:

I started out today carrying my Opinel #6 again and picked the few weeds who dared to move into our garden:

Then my wife gave me a present today. My first Peanut (to celebrate the coming arrival of our first Peanut)... Of course this is now in my pocket!

We then went for a walk and made some friends:

5k Q's-
I love the 2 blade hayin helper for outside-bib overall dirty work. It has a good sized pen that can serve for any needed "belly" blade and I find most outside jobs need the strong sturdy safe sheepfoot, so it's gr8.
Yes, Detroit Red beets. I seem to be able to grow them as easy as weeds here in MD. And I love them fresh, roasted or pickled.

Tsar, don't think I haven't noticed your punch stockman. You haven't made putting off the purchase any easier.

Unfortunately the 6318 you won in the EDC Challenge GAW is a standard clip-sheep-spey configuration, but it's on the same frame at least. :o

Don't forget to email a shipping address to the email I left in your visitor messages. :D

The 93OT is a hard one to find. I have yet to encounter someone who would part with one. I find myself trying to collect the more esoteric OT patterns in hopes that one day someone will trade me one. :o

Yup! It's the Middleman.

What a neat little 'nut! Are those covers synthetic, like the white "sparxx" line?

My new EDC, for now.

Breathtaking stag!

Today was not quite the relaxing Sunday I'd been hoping for. After getting some chores finished up, I barely got outside long enough to enjoy the sun before it set. This is the trio I've had with me all day:

Beautiful Joe

Great looking stag Harry  Congratulations to the happy couple

Appealing pair; I hope your work load eases up soon, Jack. I'd like to see what MAM you've been using.

Thanks my friend, impressive selection of Old Timers. I received the MAM as a birthday present back in March, it's a fun little knife. The small fork is great for spearing olives and small morsels :)

LOL! :D Congratulations on the Peanut :)

Wow! :)

Nice colours TB :)

Lovely old Southington

I have these two with me today :) Have a good week everyone
