What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Haha. I kept it in my back pack. Just brought it out to cut sandwiches. I almost got washed away though. :). It doesn't look like it but it's about a 4 foot drop those waves are crashing up over.

It's a nice photo, Rich.

whetrock, Case CV and amber bone is one of my favorite combinations.

Today, I'm totin' a Schrade Cut Co New England Whaler.

It was tough for me to decide on toting this Zscherny Eureka jack, but last night I finally broke down, put "my edge" on it stropped it and stuck it in my pocket this morning.

Good choice, Gus. You can never go wrong with a Eureka, Jack! ;)

Back to my Alsdorf. Trying to carry it without my pocket sheath. It's worked well enough so far, probably because its thin and light.

Edwood7,
Were you issued that knife? I know a few red-leg soldiers who have those in their U6 toolkits.

ETA:
I saw your thread about this knife, disregard the question.

Around the beginning of the year my buck 110 was stolen and I was none to happy about it. Yesterday my girl friend surprised me out of nowhere with a brand new Buck 110. While I do miss my old one this one is so much more special because she gave it to me. This will be one of my edcs for a very long time. Today I'm carrying it horizontal on my belt with sak in my pocket, a perfect combo to me.
