Stag Saturday...hello? At least at my place it has been.
...
Fabulous, elegant lambsfoot, Barrett! You have it too far from the center in your photo; that knife is definitely a bull's eye!! :thumbup:I've got my new A. Wright Lambsfoot with me today.

GT, the mini Copperlock is my first, it's 3 5/8" closed. I don't have it with me but I'd guess a minimum of 3" for the blade. I know I'll like it, nice and thin, nice F&F, excellent W&T. At least 20 different covers, at least one in CV, a few as ground, and at least one wharncliffe if I remember. Good bang for your buck. Sending you a PM.
Blade length is 2.75"
Thanks for the detailed replies, Alan and Steve. Thanks for the link in the PM, Alan. Steve, I'm glad you're so pleased with how the dye job changed your opinion of the knife.GT...concerning the mini copperhead, I like the knife but it was not one of my favorites. Usually picking one of my gent knives like the swayback jack/gent or a GEC #25 instead. For it's length it is pretty thin, would like it thicker and wish it was a multiblade. Light, SS blade so minimal fuss it great.
I just didn't like the the light amber bone covers, no matter how much I carried it. I do like the clip blade shape very much on this size!!!
Now tho that I have dyed it...well I love it! It makes all the difference to me...but now finding out it is in the jigged red walnut:thumbup:
Encore! Encore!! Superlative shot of a stagalicious pruner, Primble!:thumbup:...

That is a sweet spear Remington Barlow, Dean; the covers remind me of something good to eat (or drink - I'm thinking chocolate shake)!
Thanks for the kind words, Jack.
I like your attitude, tdaddy! The Stag Saturday thread was quite inactive this week, but it's great to see your lovely stag examples!

Thanks, Ron.
Great photos, Jon!You may find this hard to believe, but I never noticed the similarity between the 18 and the 55 patterns until you juxtaposed them here!

As usual, gorgeous knives, Kris! Have you seen the "Purdiest Knives" thread? I'm eager to see what you might post there. If I were to identify the best-looking knife I've ever seen (counting photos as well as in person), it would probably be one of yours! (There's a trapper that leaves me speechless with its engraving, and there's a Chamblin whittler in Damascus and stunning stag...)
Love to see these knives that members are committed to!
Superb knife, Bob, and even better story that I happened to stumble across while looking at old threads in the Exchange (just to see what deals I missed - don't judge!)!:thumbup: Bouquets to Shawn for his thoughtful generosity!

Still off my official schedule for the weekend, so for Sunday I followed the lead of thunder daddy and Jack Black and went Solely Stag Sunday; in fact, Solely Stag Canoe Sunday for me today.
