What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

A weekend of carrying a Queen Cattle King Stockman in Amber Bone D2.

Monday; I'm Back in Black :D carrying the Buck 301 in Black sawcut.

Out of respect for the Tradition Forum and to keep me out of trouble , you'll have to sing the AC/DC tune to yourselves. :D

Jerry Halfrich: "Scout" (3.75", CPM-154, featuring Enrique Pena's jigged/dyed bone)

I haven't seen that one before, Elliot. Love the dyed jigged bone and the choice of shield. Looks sharp!

I'm totin' a Case/Bose Norfolk today.

I really like this knife. Opens easily. Sharpens up nicely. Great ebony slabs.

Also going with this one.

Thanks, Jake. Jerry made this one several months ago. The blade profile and overall design was a tribute of sorts by Jerry to the look and feel of some classic Randall knives.

The bone came from a couple of pieces of Enrique's own jigged and dyed bone which he had given to Jerry during a visit.

It's a terrific little knife...weighs in @ 2 3/8 ounces and is as sharp as any knife I've ever seen from Jerry, which is to say wicked.

Case Texas Jack in smooth black synthetic. One of my favorite slip joints. It's very handy, basically an overgrown peanut.

I take my USMC Ka-Bar everywhere I go on my pants belt. I get some weird looks. But it is legal where I am.

Today, like most days, I'm carrying my AG Russell black Rucarta Rancher. I really, really like this one.

Chris.

I think this pic was from when it was newer.

Those are great, Trand. How well does the figure of those compare to the Old Henry (or Ol' Timer) you have?
I think they are nicer on the GECs. They have nicer grain I think although the Old Timer is nice too, a more golden color on the Schrade. I think it'll depend on the actual wood used. The GECs were also finished nicer. The Schrade isn't totally smooth and even. But, if you can find one for cheap, I don't think the scales would disappoint.
