Merry Christmas, happy holidays--

I was reading last night, and snapped a quick pic...

Today this little fellow excelled. Great sturdy Sheepfoot just right for cutting the wrapping pater, trimming a candle base or two and above all, a first rate knife for scoring chestnuts prior to making sausagemeat & chestnut stuffing. Those chesnuts are tricky to cut with a regular pointed kitchen knife, you often end up slipping or stabbing yourself:mad::eek:

Then there's carrots....:D

I have had this beauty on my hip the last two days. Showed a couple of gentlemen at dinner how my bowie can be taken down, they were impressed. The Turkish twist(5 bars of opposing twist) is a sight to behold. My Chamblin whittler is in my pocket. Have a great holiday with friends and family everyone. I am grilling a dry aged prime rib tomorrow, can't wait!

Merry Christmas, Jack! A couple of good knives for the holidays, I see. I am glad to see a photo of your Radio Jack, um Jack!:D

My knife for 2016 (Red) and a gift from Dee (Green). Christmas colors?

Great traditional knives for Christmas Eve everyone!
Have some excellent times with family ,spirit, and new knives if you get them.

Got my 2016 knife of the year fishbarlow and Jarrett Fleming Webil on a piece of petrified wood for my wife's collection. This one was hidden in y closet since summer when I lucked upon it. She practically has a whole tree with this addition. Didn't wrap it up cause if it was under the tree one lift and she would know what it is... Santa will disposit it very late in the night

Wow! What a great photo of that beauty. Looks like you are putting it to good use. (A little off topic - what kind of pen is that?)

Thanks for your kind words, Dean. The pen is Memori pen in stainless, from Tanner Goods of Portland, OR.
