An old Mikov with black and white striped metal handle scales.

Gotta say, I really like that one! likewise with the old cellulite handled knives that have candy striping or out there colors...very cool!

Stainless blade?

Thanks for providing the specs, Elliott. It's really helpful and I like that configuration alot too! I PM'ed Ken about it and await his reply .. I'm certain his wait list is pretty long. I'd be more than happy to make you an offer on it if you need to fund for another custom. ;)

You're welcome seadweller. By the way, we don't get into discussion of sales and trades in this forum (even when the offer may be in jest) just to avoid potential issues and misunderstandings with regard to the "terms of service" and forum guidelines. However, I will say in all honesty that the wait time for getting that particular knife from me will be way longer than the wait on Ken's list. ;)

I want to thank all of you who posted those glowing remarks on Ken's cattle knife. The knife is truly special to me on a variety of levels and just epitomizes "traditional" imho.

Always nice scales on those Queens, very grippy too:thumbup:

Been a rich week for knives: A Matti Koski Puukko in dark birch and reindeer antler (bought that today at a fair) Earlier on in the week and what I've been carrying ever since, a Fontenille-Pataud 'Pocket' 10.5 cm closed in Ram's Horn. These are Laguoile knives that are backlocks. Barehead with full stainless fittings and filework, matte or polished. Dozen or so scale options. Stunning quality and beautiful traditional French knives.

GMTA, Frank!

Funny...I've had mine in my pocket since late last night and most of today as well. I really like the D2 blades and the scales on this one though I have to say I still seem to prefer square bolsters aesthetically.

Elliot, like this one?
You do have to love that honey amber bone.

Yep...(though I think your version may be the next size up?)

Here's mine:

I never took an image of the swell center whittler I have with the ACSB scales...I guess I'll get around to that one of these days.

Peregrin ,went to the last page to post my EDC for today, but after seeing your half-congress, my little whittler somehow feels less of a knife...

The Menefee is a nice little knife but I've been eyeing that whittler. Looks like it would be real nice carry.

I'm going with this Phil Patton on my hip today.
