The red has fine "cred", Methuselah.?
Yes, it was invisible ink on a white screen. but even secret agents leave finger prints...
Sorry about that .. Now i know some folks are not using the black screen. How is the red? 5K Qs ?

Good point. Did the saber grind take any getting used to?Remember, I had one third of my life that I spent with that one knife as my edc.![]()
Thanks, Jack....
Thanks GT, nice line-up there my friend![]()
Thinking of that trip has me remembering a bit of my Sesame Street Spanish: I like your rojo y negro navajas, Jack!
I agree, Gev. I'm not an accomplished sharpener, but I can usually get my old Imperials and Colonials plenty sharp enough for my uses.Gary
Yes sir....I had forgotten how sharp these old Colonials and Imperial get. I caught myself shaving paper a few times yesterday
...
Nice pic, Greg!Carrying the one that got me started.

Take away the rose,
the vibrant flower that you pluck,
but not the water that suddenly
bursts forth in joy,
the sudden wave
of silver born from you.
Take bread away from me, if you wish,
take air away, but
do not take from me your silver shining laughter.
For when your laughter enters
it rises to the sky seeking me
and it opens for me all
the doors of life.
Pablo Neruda ( my apologies )
Very nice pics, Jack...as usual!Love the swedges on those earlier 15 spear blades. And also the lack of a top pin on the cover...I think it looks cleaner that way.

Thanks, Jack.I have a Joker just like the one you carried yesterday, and a photo of yours before I went to Spain was the inspiration for me getting one when I happened upon that model in a Valencia knife shop.
Thinking of that trip has me remembering a bit of my Sesame Street Spanish: I like your rojo y negro navajas, Jack!

This one is for GT... you wanted to see what Michael Morris made of my father-in-law's old rusty Nicholson file; it was given to me after long use. Since my son loves to hike and camp, I thought it would be great if he had something of his grandfather's with him as he enjoyed the outdoors. Since his grandpa was a scout and outdoorsman (back in his youth, in his own country), a solid knife would be great. So with my father-in-law's blessing, I contacted Michael and he made me a knife. He did great work.
Here is the process, from start to finish; we had it out to oil and appreciate it--so, we toted it a little. My son is a little too young for such a substantial knife just yet, but he looks forward to using it when the time comes.
