What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

That is some gorgeous stag Elliott! Joel sure makes a first class knife.

Thanks, Gary. That was the first thing that drew my eye when I first encountered that sowbelly. The stag has a "vintage" look to it. And Joel is a top notch guy to boot!

I was thinking about you and your affection for your Lanny's Clip so I threw Enrique's version in my pocket when I hit the trail with Smoky earlier this morning:

That Pena is as nice as it gets Elliott. The bone is just incredible.

I'll have this one, from Brent Cramer, in my pocket today (it gets allot of pocket rides :)):

Gary, Brent seems to build a Lanny's that takes a back seat to no one. Carry it in good health.

Still carrying my GEC #33 Conductor but I'll also be carrying this Kerry Hampton Back Pocket I just received as part of Jason's passaround.

I've been looking at Chamblin sowbellies recently -- good timing. I think the 3.5" size is especially interesting.

Some great carry knives, guys!

I'm was totin' this beast today:

Jake, would you be able to give us some more info on that camillus? I dont believe I've ever seen one with the latch on the handle, I'm assuming the main is a lockback?

Hi Robert. I think the pattern number is 88. The main blade is marked "Camillus, New York, U S A" on the mark side and "88, Pat. Pend." on the pile side. The main blade does lock. The switch slides a metal bar forward from a recess in the liner. The other blades do not lock. Also the main blade has a half stop but the others do not. The knife measures 4.23" closed.

Very impressive! I had not seen a lock like that before except maybe a spring lock on some of the older autos. :)

Glad to help, Jake. If you find (or order) one that meets your particulars I don't think you'll be disappointed.

After carrying my yellow cv Peanut faitfully for the past 5 weeks or so, it's about time for my Chestnut Bone cv one.

See if I can bond with that little fella as well;)

This one for about a week now.

Very smart looking Conductor there Keith:thumbup:

What are the scales please?

Today, feeling unwell and out of sorts and not been outside but I stowed a Queen Cutlery Muskrat nevertheless!
