Thought this Tidioute tortoise conductor pattern was suitably Octoberish. I've really warmed up to this little slipjoint ever since using it for a recent one-knife-only-for-a-month challenge.

A tasty New York Gala apple, some extra sharp provolone cheese, my Ohta WT and a day off. Life is good. :)

Here's a Case 2001 model #6318 (3) blade Stockman pattern with the punch blade, which is somewhat scarce..Add to that this particular traditional pocket cutter has the Master -- CLIP blade in CV Steel and the Secondary SPEY blade in CV as well.. However, the PUNCH blade on this one is Stainless Steel.. I received this one NIB yesterday, and I think I like it..

I like that tortoise shell Conductor. Then again I like all Conductors.

I dropped this little Toothpick in my pocket on my way to work. I never thought I would like the pattern but I'm glad I gave it a try. It's a favorite now.

Here is my new EDC traditional knife, received yesterday and purchased off of eBay.

It's a Camillus 3 3/8" stockman. I think the blades are stainless, as the knife is likely 25-35 years old and spotless, Jigged plastic handles. Good walk and talk all around, and nicely ground blades to thin edges, like I like them.

What makes the knife special to me is the shield. My grandfather was a salesman for MoorMan's feed. After his passing I was fortunate to receive some of his pocketknives, a few of which (2 Frontiers, one Buck 303) were promo/advertising swag with MoorMan's trademarks on the blades. As glad as I am to have them, I am reluctant to carry them as the etching(?) on the blades wears off easily, especially on the Frontiers since the blades carbon steel. On this knife though, the logo is the shield, so I can carry and use it in my grandfather's memory without the logo fading. It's also the only MoorMan's advertising knife I've seen on eBay in over a year of searching.

I might like to get the knife upgraded someday with proper bone scales, and maybe even get the spey blade reprofiled into a pen.

Nice vintage MoorMan shield on that 3 line Camillus, Aaron!. Great story about your Grandpa too. Its kind of a victorious feeling after searching long and hard for knives like this that you know are out there but that are just so dog-gone elusive at times.. But after a year on the hunt, and when you finally score like you did here, it makes for a cool sensation to be certain!. Nice snag, pard.

I'm Heading out to a B-B-Q and a little football at a ranch that a friend of mine runs. He butchered up a nice small-medium young female hog for the pit-n-spit.. He is a good old boy too. He serves no knives at these shindigs. Just plastic throw away plates and flatware and we'll be lucky to get napkins.. So if'n you're going to eat, you best bring your own knife, and a bandanna ~ kerchief in case there are no napkins.. :p He ain't no fancy Dan, my pal but boy that B-B-Q is tasty sweet!. I am still carrying the same Case 6318PU in my pocket but I am a tote'n a nice solid Bowie on my hip from the forge of Rick Smith. This sticker has O-1 hi-carbon with an edge that splits hairs, so I'll be ready for that yummy porker! :D

Oddly enough, there's another MoorMan's marked Camillus on eBay right now (different seller). Go figure. I think I'll pass on this one though, as it's on the blade, the knife is spotted, and the plastic handles are shrunken. There's also really nice 150 year commemorative presentation Camillus, but I ain't payin $250 for it.

Thanks guys, some of you are really showing some creativity and thought into your photo's
I love these knives

That clasp knife shape is really comfortable in the hand.

I have been carrying this Vic Alpineer in recent days. It's remarkably light for a fairly big (7-5/8" open), sturdy knife.

I just got in my Klien 3 blade electricians knife, cleaned it up, knocked off the bur and sharpened it up a bit. Gonna be carrying this and my old leatherman sideclip today for electrical class.

Carrying this one today. Its my only Traditional Forum knife so far. I can't wait for the 2011s.

Well, I've misplaced (hopefully not lost) my mini copperhead, so I'm carrying the peanut I won in Vince's give away. It was/is my first ever peanut and still my favorite.

It's the bottom knife in this photo I call the "Tres Amigos". The missing mini copperhead is the middle knife. I hope I find it.

I've been totin' my 2010 forum knife for the past week or so. I wish more knives made by production companies had NS liners like these do. The contrast between the silver and the ebony, along with the patina of the backsprings, looks great.
