What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Schrade GDOT stockman.
Sweet Schrade, I really like it! Steven

Today I wore, what I usually not do, two traditionals. A Case Peanut SS Blue Bone and a Case Trapper CV Dark Red Bone Handles.

I think, every one of them would be enough for EDC, but I liked to carry theese two at the same time. Very small meets very tall :D

Kind regards
Andi

Gary, that is really a beautiful knife! How big is it (closed)?
I love single bladed wharncliffs :)
Still with me since last weekend is my Opinel #6 in rosewood.

I did a bit of pocket tradin' for this one a while ago. The tip was broken off and fairly dull. After a liitle attention it has won me over. You don't see these little 12OT's here often.

Thanks Fausto! The Small Rounder is 3 5/8" closed. Just the right size for pocket carry, IMO. I really like the modified wharncliff blade too.

I found my mini copperhead, so I am carrying it today. It was lost for 6 days. But, we have been reunited. I was really stressed out trying to decide which available version I was going to get as a replacement.

so just outta curiosity, where was it?
somewhere interesting? or just in the couch cushions?

I had it when I was installing a door closer on the town hall building in greater Athens, and when I picked up the box and the extra stuff (screws, instruction sheet) I had just put it in the box with the screws and instructions. Don't know why, but that's the where of it.

Glad to hear you found it, Ed! I hate when one of mine gets misplaced. It's a bad feeling when you reach for your knife and realize it's not there.

I've been using this two blade Wiseman Sowbelly for the last couple of days.

Agh... so that's what they look like with a full blade. That's a gem of s knife you got there Robert.

LOL yup, she gets sharpened just not a whole bunch...I love using it to scrape out my tobacco pipes so it tends to keep an edge a long time. Had it 10 years now, lost it 7 times or so, but the store I got it at said they had it sitting in their display case for at least 10 or more years and they forgot they had it till i noticed it in other non-knife stock at a hobby store.

They sold it to me for the price the old yellow, faded sticker had on it so I was quite pleased (first time losing it was the day I got it!!!). The adventures of a 120T :D

This is traditional as they come.... except it is not a folder. Today I broke up ribs with the Foster Bros early 1900s 8" bladed cleaver. Still has the original handle and I've cleaned it up quite a bit. It plays a pretty strong role in the kitchen these days. Last week it split acrorn squash with almost zero effort.

Heh. My Buck 110 has found its way into my pocket today. Happens about once a month. Falls to the bottom of my pocket with an audible "thud". The anti-Opinel. I usually need to get my back adjusted by my chiro when I pocket carry the 110, but it definitely gets/keeps me used to a knife in the pocket. The Opinel just floats in my pocket when I go back to it, which I always do 9 days out of 10. Rumor has it that a Buck 500 may be coming for Christmas, so I do need to up my game in terms of what I'm willing to carry.
