I like them all, but that Vic Champion is a toolbox! very cool.Thanks for reminding me of the terminology for that style of celluloid, KAW.
Chinese Imperials don't show up here very often, but posting one isn't a matter of courage as much as it is a matter of taste (or lack thereof).
Totally agree, MBeckett!I really like the few USA Imperials I have, but I also really enjoy my Chinese Imperials; the ones I've acquired are very solid knives!
That's some resplendent red you're rockin', Ratbert!!
For my money, in terms of both form and function, it's tough to beat a black Pioneer!!
Glad I could entertain you guys and your active imaginations!!During the week, I'm usually carrying a dozen knives, so 7 sodbusters is light duty!
I have one of those elasticized belts that I cinch up pretty tight to keep my pants close to where they ought to be.
(I'll admit that I bought some suspenders a few weeks ago, and they do a fantastic job of keeping my pants up, but I'm not sure I like the look.
)
That's a steal at twice the price, lambertiana; congrats on a fine knife and fabulous bargain!
Tom, thanks for Explaining In General what EIG is/was.
Thanks for asking about the mini trapper. I liked carrying that MUCH more than a full sized trapper, but I'm still not used to a knife with both blades about the same size. But it's probably just a matter of time before I appreciate the pros of that set-up. I originally didn't like the muskrat pattern at all, but after I used one for several days, I decided the pattern had plenty going for it.
Cool Kevlar covers!!(At this time of day, though, when I'm getting quite hungry, the covers remind me of waffles.
)
That's a dandy, Drew!
Anticipation has its charms!
Thanks, Tom! Another fine pairing, and I'm glad you're liking the sodbuster!
Thanks, Jack; I'd never heard of Madness, nor "Baggy Trousers" - quite a madcap video!!Nice pair of knives you selected to help you with your fruit harvest.
I suspect if I had ready access to that blackberry crumble, my trousers wouldn't be baggy for long!!
Thanks for the story of naming Linus, Dylan.As a kid, I always admired Linus's obvious competence (and normality).
That pair of knives you have today is also very admirable!
Truth in advertising for that stag Barlow, Stuart - it definitely does excel!!
Congrats on your new sheepfoot TC Barlow, Harry!Great group shot: I like the red one, and the crimson one, and the scarlet one, and the cardinal one, and the cherry one!

A VERY classy pair, Ron.
Donn I love the patina on that Arthur Wright and with it sitting on that bucket of apples makes for a great picture.
Today I have my 2015 BF knife with me. I sure wish Canal Street was still in business.

Thanks gents. And there some cracking knives you've all posted there. Especially the BF 2015 knife Redden
The apples are only about a third of the crop off my mum's apple tree. Unfortunately there actually really bitter so they end up in crumbleswhich I hope will look as delicious as Jack's blackberry crumbles looks

What a wonderful knife from Sunfish Forge. Is it W-2? I know Don uses it a lot. That would probably never leave my pocket, except to use.![]()
Here are the three I scored from 2016 run of 92 talons, left to right--Snakewood, Stag, & Blue Camel Bone:

That 2015 BF knife is a beauty, Randy.I agree about Canal Street. The only one I have that's made by them is this Ka-Bar Coppersmith Barlow. Wish I could buy more of their knives! This one has a tang that actually has a Canal Street stamp on it...all the others I've seen have had the Ka-Bar stamps.

Another fan of CSC here.I have the 2015 Forum knife and heres one they made for Rigid, the workmanship shows.

It's been a light but steady rain all day. I thought my patina and the rain drops played nicely together.

Incidently Jack I've been eating ripe blackberries for about 4 weeks now. And I'm eating elderberries now as well; far to early! A few farmers I've spoken to over the past few weeks say harvest has been about 3 weeks early as well. I've seen rowan fruiting early and we've got hawthorn and holly loaded with berries already. According to old farming wisdom all this early crop indicates a VERY VERY severe winter, usually from about the end of December/early January....
No kidding?! You'll need one of those Jack Black-style day packs LOL.
Jacks blackberry crumbles made me hungry as well.![]()
That's a keeper Ron I like the Northfield Barlows every much as well as I do the TC's.
An absolute winner Drew. The function and form of that TC are just sublime. MJ.My boring work picture of the day lol The rosewood got a lot of worry stone action this shift
