What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Happy Thanksgiving everyone:D I really like this Northfield UN-X-LD Jack alot:thumbup: It's taken a very nice patina. I had put my Christmas lights up a few weeks ago but the wife's rule is they can't be turned on until the night of Thanksgiving:o

Since the lights get to be turned on I thought I'd snap a few glamor shots;)

Thank you Kevin and compliments back @ you for that gorgeous Fixed blade!!! Wow that's tremendous stag and atop your Grandfathers flag makes it even more special---great picture:thumbup: Enjoy time with your family and friends:)

Guess this will be my first ever post. Only "traditional" I carry is a little Rough Rider Gunstock Bone Whittler. As for the other knives that round out my EDC. I have a black Vic SAK (not even sure of the model) that I have carried forever, a SuperKnife, and a Gerber International all black with serrations that has been beat to death. Also carry a Leatherman Wave everyday as well. Getting ready to retire a couple though. Probably send the Superknife in for repairs at Gerber and they will upgrade it to whatever the equivalent is now that they own Superknife. Hopefully after Christmas the Gerber International will be upgraded to an Ontario RAT 1. Vic SAK will probably be swapped for my Vic red Tinker tomorrow.

Paul, that Jack is perfect, I love seeing that relaxed stag and the patina, great knife.
How long have you been EDCing that one?

I have been carrying this one for a while, no real patina yet, so I'm hoping to get a good one going soon.

After months of you Goody 2 Shoes out there bragging about your CV Peanuts, and "oh how I love the patina" and "oh how it disappears in my pocket" and "oh how it cuts like a big knife", I finally cracked. I give up. You guys win. There is now a CV Peanut in my pocket. Score: Mr. Carl - 1, Powernoodle - 0.

I forced a patina with an apple, but figured out that the only cool patina is a real patina, so I polished it out. I'll earn this one, thank you.

Okay, don't laugh but I really like this old Imperial knife. It has the crappiest handle ever but it snaps like crazy and sharpens easy. Was doing some stuff in the garage and needed a quick screwdriver.

Good to know I'm not the only one that likes them. They are kinda cheesy but the blades are really good on the few I have. Here's an oldie for you.

I've been totin this one for a while and a young (23) retired marine seemed to like it. I sold it to him today for a quarter. I think I made a good deal. It's not the kind of knife he is use to but I think he will find it usefull.

This one is finally sharp. I think I'll tote it for a while.
