Those look like well-designed pants for a knife fancier, Jack! Thanks GTFor the past few years, I've been wearing 5.11 pants. I have 7 or 8 pairs, 4 different designs, but they all a small front pocket on each of the thighs, a bit like this...
So, I just drop a knife in one, and usually one in the other too, keeps 'em safe and scuff free
And as from this afternoon, I have added security (and some glamour too I think!)

That's a cool Robt. Klaas pattern, Josh!
Your other SAKs need to realize that jealousy is an unappealing emotion!
No big deal, maybe, but it still sounds less than ideal! Thanks, it's no big deal.
Can't remember what they call the procedure, but Ive had bad acid reflux my whole life and they're going to use a camera to examine my esophagus and see how badly it's been narrowed by scarring.
That's an incredibly photogenic stockman, TdoubleK!
Those are a lot of royal Barlows, Stuart!A bevy of Barlows in a box, all Queens, waiting for me to pick for today's carry. Models 22, 23, 25, and 27 with 1 or 2 blades, clips, razors, spears, and sheepsfoot mains, and either Winterbottom bone or saw-cut bone scales (one in Delrin). dates seem to run from mid 1950's to the early 1970's.

I chose a Model 23 with an aluminum frame covering the springs.

[After posting this message/photos and while handling the jigged knives in the picture, I referred to some contemporary catalogues that indicate the the jigged covers are Queen's Frontier bone, a variation on their Winterbottom bone jigging.]

Those are a couple of real glamor shots, Chin & Dee!!
Thanks for the info, Rob!5K Qs And I might add a Lloyd is a good value in a custom slip joint. You can find better fit and finish but the price will be much higher. Lloyds are sturdy and made to use

Very nice looking Humpback, Gary.
Thanks for the mentions, Ratbert and Ernie.I am copying 5k Qs and carrying my humpback stockman today!

FBC and Will, I'm bullish on your Bull Noses for sure!!Something simple, but I think effective today. It doesn't look pristine like this any more and I don't eat cherry jam any more either (my favourite but I MUST lose some kgs!)but it was a GEC that was easy to get and moderate in cost.

That's an intriguing knife, lambertiana!!I was in the mood for stag, and this had not been carried for some time:

Don't knock lucky, Clay!!Nice of you to say my friend, however I think mostly we just get lucky!![]()

That's a cool Robt. Klaas pattern, Josh! What is it called? Some kind of 4-blade stockman? A whittler on steroids?

Those look like well-designed pants for a knife fancier, Jack!I often wear carpenter jeans because of their extra pockets, but I can't wear them in all situations because they're not "dressy" enough; I'll keep my eyes open for something like you showed!
