 Thanks for the 3 B’s! :D Great foursome there Gary!
Thanks for acknowledging my every single day quartet, Ron. :)

It was a Guardian kind of day.

Handsome knife, FBC, and cool pic!:cool::thumbsup: Is there fruit in the bushes in the background??

But the no beans in chili thing is just plain wrong!
:D
When Jeff is right, he's right! :D:thumbsup:

GT, the classic cattle knife pattern has the spear main and sheepfoot secondary, along with either a spey, pen or punch.
The Case Humpback Stockman is a nice one, fairly easy to find, plus there is always the alox Electrician.

And the original #92 had a spear and coping, pretty close.

Thanks for the excellent suggestions, Jeff.:) I actually have a humpback stockman and a Vic Electrician, and like them both immensely; the Eureka jack is also appealing. Although I didn't state this, I've been very impressed with all the Churchills I see, and was thinking that a single-spring knife with spear main and sheep secondary on opposite ends would be a "dream come true". ;)

Thanks my friend, nothing involving any skill! :D I have a LOT of books, and half my walls are lined with bookcases. I had two more delivered this week, tall ones, with glass doors, so I needed to fix the shelves in place, and fix them to the walls with brackets. I also had a large chest delivered, which I'm going to use for some of my camping stuff. Mainly I have just been humping stuff around the house! o_O :D

Here I am pretentiously perusing my library :D

I was immensely impressed with and envious of your floor-to-ceiling book storage, showing it to my wife and daughter. Then my daughter pointed out the parenthetical disclaimer.:p:thumbsup: But thanks for the description of your recent "project".;) That stag lambsfoot is a patrician pick!!:cool::thumbsup::D The subsequent follow-up about the 66 pic and wishing trees was quite intriguing, too.:thumbsup::thumbsup:

Lovely, photogenic knife, P&G!:thumbsup::thumbsup::cool: The ram's horn looks like it has finger grooves! ;)

Again today. My tax guy is coming at 11. Should be fun ...

I've always been my own "tax guy". Maybe if I had a real tax guy, I could get some stunning knives like your Lloyd shadow and Russell peanut, Gary!! :p:thumbsup::thumbsup:

Luminous looker, Lance! :thumbsup::thumbsup::cool:

My Stagurday was a mystery at first, as it has no makers marks on it. The etch and stamp show it to be the National Knife Collectors Association annual knife for 1981. A quick online trip to an NKCA information page revealed it to be a Queen Cutlery made cigar jack with India stag cover and stainless steel blades, 4.25" closed. It is number 6668 out of some 12000. Looks a bit like a cousin to the stag lambsfoot posted by Jack Black Jack Black earlier today.

Spectacular stag cigar jack, Stuart!!:thumbsup::cool::cool: Being a fan of the canoe pattern, I often see canoes where there are none, and your equal ender with the spear/pen combo sure hits some of the same heartstrings for me as canoes do!:thumbsup::thumbsup:

Outstanding pair for stag Saturday, Harry; far-more-than-satisfactory stag interims of texture and coloration, and particularly pointy blades!:cool::thumbsup::thumbsup:

Sunday morning already, and I still have some knives I carried all of last week that I haven't posted yet! And they're some of my favorites from last week!
Officially, my Stag/Horn Knife of the (last) Week was this Rough Rider stag canoe:

But my Free Choice Knife of the Week was also stag, a Colt muskrat:

My Peanutish Knife of the Week was this Case Swayback Jack (thanks, Paul). Calling it "peanut-like" is a stretch, I suppose, but it gives me more chances to carry it in my dictatorial rotation schedule. ;)

My weekend carry choices, heavy on the examples of the best of jigging, plus a new (to me) Clauss straight razor to test out.

Great knives there, I wish I could find jigged bone like that on knives over here. Love the razor as well, especially the vibrant handle

I've been inside grading most of the day, but I'm about to go out on a walk with my littlest ones and take this jiggy boney beauty along.

Great patina on that

LOL! :D Daughters don't miss much in my experience GT ;) :D  I was only saying yesterday, that for less than what I have spent on bookcases over the past couple of years, I could have probably just had the walls of one of my rooms lined with bookshelves  Nice Sunday pics my friend, have a good one :)

Great choices gents

Really like that stag, and that hunk of walnut!
Thanks, I’m quite pleased with the Stag 78! :) My wonderful wife bought that hunk of Walnut for me! It is a really nice slab, as cut, never planed. It is an irregular shape and even has some bark on one end! Strictly for staging knife photos mind you!

It’s rainy and gloomy this morning. I decided to drop something colorful and comfortable in my pocket. This 68 Pony Jack fits in both categories for me! :)
