What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Nice pair Jack !!! I have a real weakness for the Sleeveboard's Tang Stamp . Do you have an idea of the age of it ???

Thanks a lot Harry :) Not really, but certainly pre-WW2 I think :thumbsup:

Two beautiful knives, which go together really well Ron :thumbsup:

Successful projects produce a wonderful feeling (or so I've been told :rolleyes:). :cool::thumbsup:
Two Monday, but not mundane, knives that you're sharing, Jack! :thumbsup::cool::thumbsup:

Thanks GT :D :thumbsup: I've had a couple of that RR model, and think they are nice in every way :thumbsup:

I pocketed these two today :) Hope everyone is having a good week :thumbsup:

Sumptuous stag, @rswanson ! :thumbsup::cool::thumbsup:

Nice to see what has "won the rights" to your pocket lately; fantastic spearpoint! :cool::thumbsup::cool: Liner lock, too?

Yikes! I was here to witness the old switcheroo! ;):thumbsup::thumbsup: Can't go wrong with either choice! :cool:

:thumbsup::thumbsup:;)

Thanks for the additional info. :thumbsup::thumbsup: I remember running across a "Cutting Horse" model on line somewhere and thinking it was an attractive variation on the stockman pattern.

Thanks for the info, Mike; you must be on Cloud 9! ;):thumbsup::thumbsup: Lloyd sure does stag well IMHO! :cool::thumbsup:

Thanks, @Hickory n steel . :) I REALLY like 2-blade toothpicks (2 "real" blades - not interested in clip + fish scaler).

Thanks, FBC. :) I wouldn't say I "made" the sheath as much as "recognized the potential"; rip out a few seams and voila! :rolleyes: I like your Kutmaster! :thumbsup::cool: I have a somewhat similar model (but rounded bolsters and Delrin covers) but both springs are broken. :(

Thanks for the size info on your big stag, Stuart. And thanks for the clear, informative explanation about toothpicks vs. fish knives. :cool::):thumbsup:

Delightful dilemma to face, Will! ;) My default position tends to be "go stag if possible", but the bone on that swayback is almost irresistible! :confused::cool::thumbsup:

Successful projects produce a wonderful feeling (or so I've been told :rolleyes:). :cool::thumbsup:
Two Monday, but not mundane, knives that you're sharing, Jack! :thumbsup::cool::thumbsup:

I sure admire your stag lambsfoot, Ron! :cool::thumbsup::cool: I hope spring comes to TN soon; it has to come to you before it gets to me! ;)

Those are a couple of classy Colts, @redsparrow ! :thumbsup::thumbsup::cool: Colt advertised the covers as "black stag", I think? I have a very similar sowbelly; is the lower knife a mini trapper? I very pleased with every Colt folder I have; sad to see them fold a while ago. :(

Congrats, r8shell; those are some knives "right up my alley"! :cool::cool::thumbsup: Looking forward to hearing what you think of them. :)

Another provocative pair, Stuart! I really like the coloring on the mark side of the Barlow (it could be the model for the elusive antique amber TC Barlow), and the rich color and ideal jigging on the hunter are dynamite! :thumbsup::thumbsup::cool:

Harry, I tend to think of all the marvelous stag knives you have, but you have a lot of majestic bone as well!! :cool::thumbsup::thumbsup: That perfect pairing you posted is a case in point!

All the way with SBJ!! :thumbsup::thumbsup:;)

Congrats, Dylan; that looks like a sizable scarlet slicer! :thumbsup::cool::cool::thumbsup: One of those new Oregon Trappers?

Such enviable knives, Steve, and such cheerful pictures! :thumbsup::cool::cool: I look forward to your sunshine/blue skies photos! :)

Congrats on the ebony Churchill, 007hunter 007hunter ! :thumbsup::cool::thumbsup: I think that's the GEC knife that "moved" me the most in 2017.

Nice work!! :thumbsup::cool::cool:

That run of stag 73s was iconic to me, and yours is "Best in Show", Paul! :cool::thumbsup::thumbsup::cool:

Can't beat "sweatin' with the oldies!" :cool::thumbsup::thumbsup:

Welcome to The Porch, @Daniel G. ! :):thumbsup: A beer barrel whittler and a stag SBJr are a superb pair to start with!! :eek::cool::thumbsup::thumbsup:

Thanks Harry!:)

With the situation becoming what it has with the 77’s, as our friend Harry would say, this 77 is made out of “unobtainium”! :D

Welcome to Traditionals! You will find a wealth of knowledge here and plenty of good people that will be willing to share that knowledge. Don’t be shy if you have any questions!

With a Norfolk and a Sambar Lambsfoot it’s starting off to be a great day!!! :D

Started outside to get some pictures for Two TEW's Tuesday but never went off the back porch . I know this is nothing as compared to what you folks out East are getting . But 15 minutes before this there was no snow on the ground and the sun was shining
