@5K Qs Thank you for the compliments on my Lloyd GT. I am not living large, just spending large. Luckily, my wife thinks all knives cost less than $100, so, when I pull out a Lloyd, she just thinks it is another knife! And to answer your question, we just have one dog. But we have two grand dogs that spend a lot of time with us. And two neighbor dogs that come over quite frequently!

Glen did some really fantastic jigging on your barlow! And the dye job- wow!The Craftsman is one of three barlows that I had glennbad recover for me. Here's a pic from when I first got it back that shows off the deeply jigged deeply Amber bone.

Been rather busy lately with the house hunt and such but our persistence has paid off! I've mostly skimmed this thread for the last few days so if I missed a comment or two, please accept my apologies.

I think glennbad nailed it. Beautiful.I had glennbad put ebony scales and rat tail bolsters on a GEC 47. The shield is like what is on some on knives of this pattern that were found on the steamship Arabia wreck. I'll have to get better pictures, I don't know why the bolster looks so yellow, it is the same as the shield. What do you think?
